On how SATC picks the fashions and the products, SJP said, “We always have tried to be very consistent with Carrie Bradshaw. There was a time when I was a less modest dresser. When you’re off the market, you also change. It’s more refined. In this movie, it’s a higher-end designer look, but it’s still mixed with a $3 skirt or a tutu. I didn’t think about labels.”

ABC’s hit drama Ugly Betty may be turning into a Broadway musical production soon!

Michael Urie, aka Wilhemina’s assistant Marc, told British radio station Heart, “They do want to do an Ugly Betty musical, a full-on Broadway musical, but it’s all hush-hush. I think it would be great, and they should use the cast from the show. I think we would all do it, although we maybe don’t dance and sing as well as professional singers and dancers. I think it would be fun for us to do it for a while, and then they could get real people in. They definitely want to do an episode that is a musical one, but then they want to do a full stage show. I think it’s a great idea. It would definitely work.”

Proud parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie celebrate daughter Shiloh’s second birthday today.

Shiloh is the smallest and youngest of the Jolie-Pitt family and was born in Swakopmund, Namibia exactly two years ago. She has three older siblings — brother Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3. Shiloh will soon have twin sisters, when Angie gives birth later this summer.

The newly crowned Idol winner David Cook and runner-up David Archuleta make an appearance at MTV studios in Times Square, New York City on Tuesday after an appearance on TRL to promote the upcoming American Idol Tour. (Their segment will air on Thursday.)

Earlier today on Live With Regis and Kelly, Cook, 25, admitted he recently had a dinner date with former Idol contestant Kimberly Caldwell. Watch the video at TMZ.

When asked if he had a good time on his date at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Cook replied: “I did. We’ll probably hang out again. So we’ll see.”

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively trades in her Serena van der Woodsen designer-wear for some casual beach-wear on the set of her new movie, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee on Jennings Beach in Fairfield, Connecticut on Tuesday.

In the film, Blake, 20, plays the teenage Pippa Lee while Robin Wright Penn plays the older version. After her much older husband forces a move to a suburban retirement community, Pippa Lee engages in a period of reflection and finds herself heading toward a quiet nervous breakdown. Pipe supplier Rooster McConaughey aka Matthew McConaughey’s older brother, has signed on as one of the stars of the new reality show, Black Gold.

From the producers of Deadliest Catch and Ice Road Truckers, Black Gold will give viewers a peek into the dangerous lives of Texas oil workers.

Rooster (real name: Michael Patrick McConaughey) made a brief appearance in brother Matthew’s 1998 film, The Newton Boys. He also named his son Miller Lyte after his favorite beer!

Black Gold premieres on Wednesday, June 18 on truTV.

The Dark Knight actress Maggie Gyllenhaal joins Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream co-founder Jerry Greenfield in a bed at the Ben & Jerry’s Times Square Scoop Shop in New York City on Tuesday.

The pair hosted “Peace Bed-In”, a recreation of the “Bed-In” staged by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1969 aimed at promoting world peace.

At the event, Ben & Jerry’s introduced a new flavor called “Imagine Whirled Peace” (that’s w-h-i-r-l-ed not w-o-r-l-d). The new flavor is a caramel and sweet cream whirl of chocolate-covered peace signs and toffee pieces.
