Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom were in Tokyo, Japan to promote their latest movie, The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.

If you’ve missed the news brief from yesterday, Pirates has already smashed all previous box office records for a premiere weekend release. So for Depp and Bloom to continue traveling and promoting is just adding insult to injury for the other movies that are out. They should just take a break and chill out. Buy themselves a nice big house in the middle of nowhere and then just watch the money roll in (for another few weeks at least).

All jokes aside, these two are looking spiffy. Orlando Bloom in all-black dress attire and Johnny Depp looking casual in a brown striped Penguin polo and some jeans (and then later in black as well).

Hayden Christensen was apparently so smashed over the weekend at The Guvernment Nightclub in Toronto, Canada that he could not utter complete sentences.

I really have no idea how this kid got famous. He’s in my top 10 list of worst actors ever placed in a film (don’t believe me, just watch the Star Wars films). My goodness, just look at him. Some people think he’s a hit or miss. I think he’s wasted.

Just got sent some screen grabs from A Scanner Darkly, starring Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, and Woody Harrelson with Robert Downey, Jr.

The movie has already opened in select cities and will continue to open in theaters nationwide through the month of July. Early reviews of the movie have been quite good. Anybody seen it yet? I haven’t but I definitely will very soon.

Here are some photos from the set of Last Kiss, starring Zach Braff, Jacinda Barrett, Rachel Bilson (among others).

I love the song Chocolate by Snow Patrol which you can hear being played in the movie trailer. Zach Braff says that he put together the soundtrack for Last Kiss. As many of you know, he also helped gather the songs on the Garden State soundtrack as well, so if you’re into that type of music, you should love the soundtrack for Last Kiss (it’s like a sequel to the Garden State soundtrack).

The movie is set to be released September 15, 2006.

Keira Knightley must be incredibly happy right now. I mean, her latest movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest is #1 at the box office and is raking it in by the millions, and here she is appearing on the latest front cover of Cosmo Girl.

Her short hair definitely looks better I think. I mean, she looked great when she had longer hair too (extensions, is what I’m told), but I think this short-haired Keira is more interesting to look at. Anybody else think the same?

Jessica Simpson’s music video for A Public Affair has been exclusively released on Yahoo! Music.

It is labeled "Fans Only Version" because it showcases some of the best submissions of her fans dancing to this song. It’s kind of a lo-fi music video mash, but I guess it serves it’s purpose in building up hype for the song (especially since people know they have a chance at getting their 15-seconds of fame for being in her music video).

I tried looking for it on YouTube, but considering the state of copyrighted music videos on YouTube, I figured it was a lost cause and that the only way to make sure you are able to see it is from the source itself.

Music will host the premiere of Jessica Simpson’s fans-only video for her latest single, "A Public Affair."  As part of the music site’s "Get Your Freak On" program, the video features entrants from Yahoo! Music’s user-generated competition, in which fans were asked to submit a tape of themselves grooving to Simpson’s new song.  Inspired by a night out on the town with her girlfriends, the catchy tune is scheduled to appear on the multi-platinum recording artist’s fourth studio album, A Public Affair, which will be released later this summer.

Queen Latifah stars in an HBO original movie entitled, Life Support. Here she is on location in New York filming for the movie.

Life Support centers around Ana Willis (Queen Latifah), a former crack addict who is HIV positive. Ana Willis overcomes her drug addiction and becomes a wife and mother who is dedicated to educating people in the black community about the HIV/AIDS epidemic and how they can protect themselves from being infected.
The movie is based on the true events of writer Nelson George’s sister and is executive produced by Jamie Foxx.
