You, Me and Dupree synopsis:

Carl and Molly Peterson (Matt Dillon and Kate Hudson) are just starting their new life together–complete with a cute house, boring neighbors, stable jobs and the routines of newlywed existence. There’s just one unfortunate hitch in their perfectly constructed new world…

And his name’s Dupree.

Randy Dupree (Owen Wilson), Carl’s oldest friend and perpetual bachelor, has found himself with nowhere to go after being fired. Carl yanks his jobless/homeless pal out of the bar he’s living in and invites him to temporarily crash on the couch–that’s just what friends do.

At first, Carl is quite pleased to have his good buddy as a permanent couch guest, while Molly bears the brunt of Dupree’s immature antics. But, as Carl becomes buried in his grown-up job, he finds it harder and harder to juggle Dupree and his responsibilities as a husband. To make matters worse, Dupree uses his ample spare time to become a great companion for Molly. Even her dad (Michael Douglas) and the neighbors are falling for his carefree wisdom and charm–frustrating Carl to no end.

Soon, everyone (but Carl) begins to root for Dupree to stick around. But as Dupree starts to become a fixture in the Peterson’s home, three becomes not just a crowd…but a full- blown, hilarious catastrophe.

From the producers of Crash and Sideways comes The Illusionist, a new movie with an all-star cast.  Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti, and Jessica Biel star in The Illusionist, a film of romance, politics, and magic set in turn-of-the-century Vienna.

The film is being released on August 18th, so be sure to write it down and check it out when it gets released! It should be an exciting and entertaining film with great performances expected from Norton and Giamatti (and Biel too, of course).

The Illusionist Synopsis:

A supernatural mystery that combines romance, politics and magic, The Illusionist is the latest film from the producers of the Oscar winners Crash and Sideways.  The film stars Academy Award nominees Edward Norton and Paul Giamatti as two men pitted against each other in a battle of wits: Norton as mysterious stage magician Eisenheim, and Giamatti as Vienna’s shrewd Chief Inspector Uhl, with Jessica Biel sharing the screen as the beautiful Sophie von Teschen.

When word of Eisenheim’s astounding illusions reaches the powerful and pragmatic Crown Prince Leopold (Rufus Sewell), the ruler attends one of the magician’s shows in order to debunk Eisenheim during the performance.  But when the Prince’s intended, Sophie von Teschen,assists the magician onstage, Eisenheim and Sophie recognize each other from their childhoods—and a dormant love affair is rekindled.  As the clandestine romance continues, Uhl is charged by Leopold to intensify his efforts to expose Eisenheim, even while the magician gains a devoted and vocal public following. With Uhl doggedly searching for the reasons and the man behind the trickery, Eisenheim prepares to execute his greatest illusion yet.

The Illusionist is written and directed by Neil Burger, and features top-notch production values, including a haunting score by master contemporary composer Philip Glass.

Yesterday, Brooke Burke and Kelly Monaco, two very beautiful and very famous models took to the streets followed by many supporters for NoScruf (National Organization of Social Crusaders Repulsed by Unshaven Faces).

Together, the two models, along with several other women, shouted and waved banners in front of Manhattan Mall near NYC’s Herald Square vowing to never shave again until their male counterparts shave their faces of all hair.

Personally, I think some guys are better fit with an unshaven face while others are fit for a cleaner (and shaved) look. It’s hard to say in general how much facial hair each guy may need. That’s really up to him to decide (or his significant other to push for). Since the descrepancy for all males to have a clean shaved look can be quite high and wide, I think this whole NoScruf commotion yesterday was just a good excuse for everybody else to have a good look at Brooke Burke and Kelly Monaco. Ahh, some celebrities will root for anything.

In my continuing efforts to bring to light some lesser known stars/celebrities on JustJared, I present to you Leslie Bibb. She shouldn’t be a completely unfamiliar face to all of you, since she has had recurring roles on TV shows like ER, Nip/Tuck, Crossing Jordan, and the short-lived teen TV series, Popular.

More recently however, she is the wife of Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, a new movie comedy opening on August 4th nationwide about the trials of a NASCAR driver.

Anyway, check out the photos of Leslie Bibb at a Talladega Nights press conference with Will Ferrell, Michael Clarke Duncan, and John C. Reilly. She definitely deserves some limelight here. Enjoy!

Superman Returns is still currently the #2 box office hit in US theaters after more than a week and a half into its debut. The movie stars young stars, Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane and Brandon Routh as Clark Kent (aka Superman).

Except for the occasional cheesy lines between the two characters mentioned above, the movie was surprisingly good and entertaining (IMO, Hollywood has been butchering most comic-to-film releases).

Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams got married yesterday in Central Park!

Ok, just kidding. That was a half lie. They did get married, but as Giselle and Robert on the set of the movie Enchanted! Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams were out in Central Park again for another day of filming, this time, apparently, for a scene in which the main characters get wed.
