Justin Timberlake announced at yesterday’s MTV Upfronts that he’s going to produce a new reality show for MTV called The Phone.

The Phone is based on a Dutch TV show, which pits contestants in a race against time and each other to accomplish a mission and win a cash prize.

Here’s a synopsis via Access Hollywood: Each episode will begin with two strategically placed cell phones ringing at opposite ends of a major metropolitan city. Once answered, a mysterious guide gives contestants five seconds to decide if they want to play the game.

If they accept, the competition begins, throwing the two contestants into an intense race, where they must communicate via cell phone to succeed.

The guide will also be communicating with the game players via cell phone, as a helicopter in the sky tracks their every move, exploit and error – with each failed task chipping away at the cash prize.

Scruffy Colin Farrell looks a little worse for wear as he leaves his hotel for a an early morning shoot for the upcoming film Triag‘ in Alicante, Spain on Friday.

In the film, the 31-year-old Irish actor plays Mark, a war photojournalist dealing with the memories of his time in Kurdistan. Spanish actress Paz Vega plays his girlfriend, Elena, who sets out to discover why Mark came home from a recent assignment without his colleague.

Nicole Richie, aka Paris Hilton’s BFF and future sister-in-law, goes for a Friday morning coffee run at her local Starbucks in Glendale, Calif.

The 26-year-old new mom was accompanied by fiance Joel Madden and daughter Harlow, who turns four months on Sunday.

Nicole and baby Harlow are featured in the June 2008 issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

When explaining her experience with motherhood thus far, Nicole said, “I would say how fun it is. Everybody talks about how difficult it is in the first three months, but I absolutely love it. Everything I do is for her. My whole life revolves around her and I absolutely love it.”

Dancing with the Stars has lined up Usher for the guest spot on its finale on May 20th according to OK!.

Usher, 29, reportedly even asked Karina Smirnoff (Mario Lopez’s current squeeze) to be in his feature performance despite recently being booted. Three female dancers from DWTS will be in the number.

The My Way singer got married to Tameka Foster last year and ushered in its baby boy, Usher Raymond V, on Nov. 26 as well.

Brad Pitt and pregnant Angelina Jolie enjoy a sunny day together with their children, Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, almost 2, on the terrace of Maryland Villa in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, France, on Friday.

Looks like the Jolie-Pitts spent some fun times in the water as Brad was seen shirtless, wading in the pool. Angie was also seen carrying and kissing Shiloh, who was wearing a cute pair of pink water wings!

The Florentine-styled historic villa belongs to Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen, whom Angie met when was shooting Shark Tale in 2004.

It’s been reported that Angie will be adding twin girls to their growing brood in July.

Playboy boss Hugh Hefner has invited Disney sensation Miley Cyrus to pose in the pages of his men’s magazine.

In light of Miley’s Vanity Fair photo scandal, Hugh told Extra at the Playboy Mansion last night that he love the 15-year-old tween queen to star in Playboy when she’s of legal age.

Hugh said, “Sure, she’d be welcomed in the magazine. Very pretty lady. And I think to make such a big to do over something as innocent as those photos, I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality.”

With a Hannah Montana empire worth $1 billion, Miley surely wouldn’t do this because she’s strapped for cash!
