Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon make an appearance together at the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday (November 9) in New York City.
The 39-year-old singer’s new film, Precious, took in $1.8 million in box office sales despite running in just 18 theaters throughout the United States. Precious is based on a novel by Sapphire called Push. The film itself takes place in Harlem, and shows the life of a disadvantaged teen that has struggled through life up to that point.
Mariah recently announced she will be performing live at New York’s famous Madison Square Garden for a special New Year’s Eve performance.

Matt Damon hangs out on the set of The Adjustment Bureau in Manhattan on Monday (November 9) before taking off in a Cadillac Escalade.
The 39-year-old actor’s co-star, Emily Blunt, recently sat down with MTV to talk about what to expect from the film.
“It’s like a modern love story, but it’s got an ominous sci-fi backdrop to it,” said Emily, who plays a dancer. She explained that that she was the one who had to get in shape for the film instead of Matt. “Matt is actually thrilled that for the first time it’s me who has to do that kind of thing and he’s got off scot free,” she laughed.

Halle Berry waits for her car after having lunch at Los Angeles’ Piccolino’s Cafe - and tips the valet a $20! - on Monday (November 9).
The 43-year-old actress recently lent her artistic talent to Women In Need, a charity that provides shelter for homeless families in NYC helps women get back on their feet.
Halle helped decorate a papier-mâché house that’ll go up for auction beginning from November 9-30 on CharityBuzz.com.

Jennifer Aniston leaves NYC’s American Airlines theater and heads to the afterparty after acting and singing in a 24-Hour Play.
24-Hour Plays is “a series of six 10-minute works in which the actors — including Brooke Shields, Rosie Perez, Naomi Watts, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore and more — don’t get to see their scripts until 12 hours before curtain.”
Aniston sang her own rendition of The Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine” during her play!
Also, Mad Men creator-exec producer Matthew Weiner just secured Aniston, Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis for his new romantic comedy, You Are Here.

Jennifer Garner does a bit of shopping at the a Lucky Brand Jeans store in Santa Monica and picks up her daughter, Violet Affleck, from school on Monday (November 9).
Violet, 3, looks so happy to be back at school with her friends - love that she has Jen’s signature dimples!!
The girls of the Garner-Affleck family are back in L.A. after spending time in Boston with dad Ben Affleck as he filmed The Town.

Rihanna is presented with “The Back-On-Top Superstar” award at Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year Awards at NYC’s Carnegie Hall on Monday (November 9).
“This year, we saw a different face of Rihanna,” model Iman said as she presented the 21-year-old superstar with her award. “She’s an indelible image of worldly pain and now, more than ever, I am more than impressed with her honesty and courage… She has taken her own scars and used them to create a new story of strength and awareness.”

Rihanna rocks the red carpet in an ultra-glamorous gown by Stephane Rolland at Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year Awards at NYC’s Carnegie Hall on Monday (November 9).
The 21-year-old Barbados belle, who was styled by the magnificent Mariel Haenn, was honored at the ceremony for her philanthropic work and turning her own experiences into positive ones for young girls.
Accepting her award, Rihanna shed a tear, saying she was PMSing, and thanked BFF Melissa, Mariel, Jay-Z, her label Def Jam, her granny and mom.
Earlier in the day, RiRi left MTV studios after her It’s On with Alexa Chung appearance and seemed to be in a great mood, taking photos with fans and striking fierce poses for photogs.
FYI: Rihanna’s Glamour look was complemented by Cartier and H. Stern jewelry.
