Heidi Klum was spotted yesterday afternoon in NYC’s Chelsea art district on 26th St. between 10th and 11th Ave. Mom-to-be Heidi (due in November) was accompanied by her husbandd Seal and their two children, 2-year-old daughter Leni and 1-year-old son Henry. In fashion news... Heidi Klum will premiere a collection of jewelry for QVC on Sept. 14th @ 7PM ET/PT. Heidi already has The Heidi Klum Collection, which is in collaboration with century-old fine jewelry house Mouawad. Based on a clover shape, Heidi's lucky charm, the jewelry ranges from everyday accessories to high-end 18 Karat gold and diamond statement pieces.

New mom Katie Holmes looked rather radiant yesterday during a shopping spree yesterday afternoon. Katie, 27, took along her mom, Kathleen Holmes (lower inset), and her future mother-in-law Mary Lee Pfeiffer (upper inset). The mommy trio also made their way to The Ivy to grab a bite to eat before baby clothes shopping for Suri.

It seems like the meeting of celebrity parents and babies is the hot thing in Hollywood right now. But could you imagine walking through the streets of New York City and seeing this go down? Just yesterday, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale met up with mom-to-be Heidi Klum (due in November) and Seal met up right outside Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Asian street food restaurant Spice Market, located in the Meatpacking District. Brad & Angelina do New Orleans

Brad Pitt announced the winners (New York city architects Andrew Kotchen and Matthew Berman, of the firm Workshop/APD) of his architectural design competition at a news conference in New Orleans earlier on today. Brad worked with Global Green USA in hopes of creating the environmentally friendly housing in a redevelopment project in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, a neighborhood hard hit by Hurricane Katrina.

Brad shared this at the news conference: "I am appalled and embarrassed that residents still do not have the opportunity ... to decide if they want to get back into their neighborhoods and recreate their communities... [But] I'm very, very excited about the result. There are a lot of great ideas that came across the table."

Gwen Attending VMAs?

Gwen Stefani's publicist Dave Tomberlin confirmed that Gwen is not snubbing the VMAs and plans to bypass this year's ceremony because she's "too busy with Fashion Week to attend." Please! Sounds like a publicity stunt to me. You make time to attend the VMAs.

The MTV Video Music Awards will kick off tonight at 6:30PM in New York City with a red carpet/pre-show (where Gwen happens to be staying). We'll see if Gwen's a no show or not....

Madonna: 'Papa Don't Teach'

Madonna and hubby Guy Ritchie have been hit by a series of rows — over their kids’ schooling. The pop queen has been taking Lourdes and Rocco with her on her Confessions world tour. But Guy, 37, is begging the Papa Don’t Preach singer, 48, to keep them in one place when the new school year starts next week. He is increasingly fed up with the kids moving every few weeks because of the tour, which goes on until October.

The family source added that Madonna “likes to have her children with her — otherwise she wouldn’t see much of them. They already have schools in London and Los Angeles which they float between."

Jon Voight Snubs Angelina

Angelina Jolie's estranged father Jon Voight sent a shout out to his grandkids Saturday, but it seems like absence makes the memory grow weaker -- he royally screwed up one of the names. At the fourth annual BAFTA Tea Party (BAFTA is the Oscars for Brits), Voight was talking with a reporter on the red carpet when he decided to send birthday wishes to Maddox, Angelina's five-year-old child. That went well, but then things took an ugly turn. Voight also sent well-wishes to "Shakira" -- problem is, he was talking about Angelina's 1 1/2-year-old daughter. Shakira is considerably older -- 29. The correct name -- Zahara. Close, but no cigar.

HAHAHAHA. What a terrible grandfather!! How could Jon Voight mistake SHAKIRA for ZAHARA? HAHAHAHA. Not a good way to fall under the good grace's of your daughter... Do yourself a favor and watch the hilarious clip!

Colin Farrell was spotted getting his morning smoke on and downing a cup of coffee (tea?) this past Saturday on the balcony his place in Ireland. His three-year-old son James Farrell (inset) later came out to check out the view of Dublin with, supposedly, one of Colin's sisters Catherine, 35, or Claudine, 33. Colin, 30, has recently been inspired by his son James (mother is model Kim Bordenave) to make more family-friendly films and wants to voice an animated character: "I'd really like to do an animated film next but no one is calling me to do one." Pixar, sign him up!

Paul's Picnic in the Park

Paul Bettany and wife Jennifer Connelly had a picnic yesterday afternoon in NYC's Central Park with their 9-year-old son Kai Dugan (father is photographer David Dugan) and 3-year-old son Stellan Bettany. In movie news... it's been reported that Paul will sign with New Line Cinema to play the character of Dustfinger in a movie adaptation of the children’s fantasy book Inkheart. Jen's upcoming film Little Children will premiere at the New York Film Festival in early October. Her other film Reservation, co-starring Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo, begins shooting in Connecticut in October as well.
