Jennifer kicked off the evening as she quieted down the crowd for the first award, saying, “Hello! Mama talking! Mama talking!”. She presented Best Supporting Actress to Kate Winslet for The Reader.

On the red carpet, Miley said, “I am so excited, this has been a dream of mine forever. I was like, ‘I really hope I get asked to come to the Golden Globes.’ And then I actually got nominated, so that’s the biggest thing that could happen to a girl, especially as young as I am. It’s out of this world.”

While wearing her pretty print dress by Zuhair Murad, the 34-year-old actress said, “It’s Bohemian chic and easy to wear. I don’t need to wear Spanx with it, and it hides the Christmas cookies.” Jenna finished off her look with a Kotur clutch, Jill Stuart shoes, a Sierra ring and a Chopard bracelet.
On the red carpet, Jenna said, “All the A-list movie stars come out [for the Globes], and since I’m on TV, this is my chance to see people like Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. So, I’m excited!”
She added, “My fave movie this year was Doubt. I absoutely loved it. I saw the play on Broadway and I loved the film. I’m a big fan… Yes, [I want to play a serious role.] When I saw Amy Adams in Doubt, I was just ‘Oh, I’d love to do that someday.’ She’s so talented and I’d like to follow in her footsteps. She does everything — drama, comedy.”
The Office is up for “Best Television Series - Musical Or Comedy”.
