The 2010 Grammy Awards had a huge jump in ratings this year, bringing the total number of viewers to over 26 million!
The show had a 35% increase in viewership from last year’s event and were the highest rated Grammys since 2004, according to Variety.

The recently engaged 25-year-old singer revealed that she found out Russell was going to propose to her via Google. “Unfortunately, I still Google myself sometimes,” she admitted on the red carpet. “I saw it on Google alerts. I’m going to be honest!”
After the Grammys, Katy Twittered, “tonight was lovely, don’t think I’ll be sleepin on 2010, it’s time to show them aces eh! Goodnight everyone :)”

Taylor Swift took home four Grammy awards at the 2010 Grammys, including the top prize of Album of the Year for Fearless!
The 20-year-old singer also won Best Female Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song for “White Horse” and Best Country Album.
“Thank you so much,” Taylor said. “I just hope you know how much this means to me and to Nathan [Chapman], my producer, and to all these musicians you see on this stage, that we get to take this back to Nashville! Our families are freaking out in the living room! My dad and my little brother are losing their minds in the living room right now. This is for my dad - thank you for all those times you said I could do whatever I wanted in life. And my mom, you’re my best friend.
“This is the story that all of us, when we’re 80 years old and we are telling the same stories over and over again to our grandkids and they’re so annoyed with us…this is the story that we’re going to be telling over and over again - in 2010, that we got to win Album of the Year at the Grammys! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

The 28-year-old powerhouse singer picked up a record SIX Grammys — Song of the Year for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It),” Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “Halo,” Best Female R&B Performance for “Single Ladies,” Best Traditional R&B Performance for “At Last,” Best R&B Song for “Single Ladies” and Best Contemporary R&B Album for I Am… Sasha Fierce. The most wins by a female in one night at the Grammys!!!
During her performance, Beyonce wore a black Versace Atelier leather mini-dress made of cut out leather with a metallic enriched bustier. She finished off her look with special edition Giuseppe Zanotti Design boots.
In the audience, Beyonce wore a wear a Giorgio Armani Privé chain metal silver and gold mini-dress encrusted with Swarovski crystals. She finished off her look with gold platform sandal towers from Ruthie Davis with trademark gem/bolt encrusted heels.

Celine Dion attends the 2010 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (January 31) in Los Angeles.
The 41-year-old singer attended the event with her husband René Angélil.
Celine joined Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, and Carrie Underwood in a moving tribute to Michael Jackson. They sang along with Jackson’s “Earth Song” while video from This Is It was presented in 3D.

The 38-year-old Puerto Rican pop singer, wearing Dolce & Gabbana, took to the stage with Glee’s Lea Michele to present the award for Best Female Vocal Performance.
On Saturday, Ricky attended a pre-Grammy gala called the Salute To Icons Honoring Doug Morris held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. He wore a black tuxedo, black and gold shirt, scarf and black satin tie all by Dolce & Gabbana.

Rock band Kings of Leon pick up Record of the Year for their hit song “Use Somebody” at the 2010 Grammy Awards at the Staples Center on Sunday (January 31) in Los Angeles.
“I’m not going to lie, we’re all a little drunk. But we’re happy drunks,” said lead singer Caleb Followill.
Nathan Followill (glasses) wore a blue John Varvatos button down shirt and a navy diagonal striped tie. Caleb (all black) wore a custom-tailored grey three piece suit and dress shirt all by Burberry. His girlfriend, model Lily Aldridge, wore a Burberry trench coat over a Philip Lim 3.1 dress.
