Abbie Cornish looks stunning in an Amanda Wakeley dress on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair After Party hosted by Graydon Carter at Hollywood’s Sunset Tower on Sunday (March 7).
Despite her recent break-up with Ryan Phillippe, who was also at the party, the 27-year-old Aussie actress was all smiles and looked better than ever!
Abbie, who wore diamonds and amethysts from Martin Katz Jewelry, was spotted chatting with Academy Award nominee Carey Mulligan and pal Vanessa Hudgens!
Newly single Abbie Cornish shows off her newly cropped do at the Kimberly Brooks “The Stylist Project” exhibition held at LeadApron on Monday (March 1) in Los Angeles.
The event, which was hosted by Vanity Fair and Dior, featured paintings of top L.A. stylists and designers from Brooks. Portrait subjects include stylists Rachel Zoe, Jeanne Yang, Andrea Lieberman, Arianne Phillips and Jessica Paster among others. The exhibition runs through April 3 and can be previewed at Taylor De Cordoba.
Other celebs in attendance included Oscar-winning actress Marisa Tomei, Ginnifer Goodwin and Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks (with husband Geoffrey Arend).
We’re sure Abbie cut off her locks in celebration of her split with Ryan Phillippe. Now to find a new man!

Ryan Phillippe takes his kids Ava — in a Juicy Couture cardigan — and Deacon to visit a friend’s house on Sunday (February 21) in Pasadena, Calif.
At the time, his ex-girlfriend Abbie Cornish was moving out of their home.
Yesterday, news broke that Ryan and Abbie called it quits. Abbie’s rep claims that Abbie dumped Ryan but now Ryan’s rep has a different story.
“Ryan ended the relationship and asked her to move out of his house,” his rep tells JustJared.com.
Abbie reportedly flew in Saturday (February 20) at Ryan’s request to remove her belongings from his home as they had broken up already while she was in Australia. Ryan was most recently in the Big Apple for NY Fashion Week.
Like in any relationship, there are two sides to every story.

Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish have called it quits, sources confirm.
“Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home,” her rep says.
People reports that on Sunday, the Aussie actress was spotted “removing her belongings from the house she shared with Ryan while he was running errands and toy shopping with children Ava and Deacon.”
Ryan, 35, and Abbie, 27, met in 2006 on the set of the film, Stop-Loss.
Back in December, Ryan’s ex-wife Reese Witherspoon also pulled the plug on her relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal.
