The former O.C. hipster geek Adam Brody has been cozying up with Aussie actress Teresa Palmer, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Both are schedule to star in the upcoming superhero flick Justice League of America–Brody, 28, as Wall West (The Flash) and Palmer, 21, as Talia Al Ghul.

The new couple was reportedly seen holding hands and cuddling up over dinner at Lotus restaurant in Australia’s Potts Point on Saturday night.

“They were just the sweetest couple and couldn’t stop holding each others hand the whole time,” a spywitness said. “He signed a menu for a waiter and they posed for a pic but otherwise they were just really cool about being there together.”

Adam Brody has been cast (and has closed negotiations) as The Flash in the upcoming superhero flick Justice League of America, confirms The LA Times.

Warner Bros. Pictures has not confirmed the news because they are supposedly waiting to cast all of the lead roles for the film, which has not be fully green-lighted.

Brody, best known as loveble geek Seth Cohen on The O.C., joins Australian supermodel Megan Gale, who was reportedly cast as Wonder Woman (supposedly beating out Jessica Biel).

Adam’s upcoming film Death In Love will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

The film was directed and written by Boaz Yakin and centers on a 40-year-old bachelor with a complicated life who tries to sort out his personal relationships in the shadow of his mother’s concentration camp experience. Josh Lucas, Lukas Haas and Jacqueline Bisset also star in the movie.

This weekend, Young Hollywood auditioned for the big-budgeted Warner Bros. superhero flick Justice League of America, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Director George Miller saw 35-40 actors test for the parts of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern and the Martian Manhunter.

Here’s who reportedly showed up: Adam Brody (Fox’s “The O.C.”), Joseph Cross (”Running With Scissors”), D.J. Cotrona (”Windfall”), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (”Grindhouse”), Michael Angarano (”Sky High”), Teresa Palmer (”Wolf Creek”), Max Thieriot (”Jumper”), rapper Common as well as Friday Night Lights stars Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki and Scott Porter.

No costumes were used during the audition process. But who wants to see Adam Brody in tights?????

Adam Brody runs “errands” in West Hollywood on Monday. The former O.C. actor must be working on his music as he was spotted at the same building with his Big Japan bandmate Bret Harrison back in June. Brody plays the drums for the band.

Little known fact: Adam has has twin (fraternal) younger brothers, Matt and Sean.

The former O.C. star and Josh Lucas have signed onto the Boaz Yakin-directed drama Death in Love, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Death in Love follows a pair of story lines that revolve around two brothers (Lucas and Lukas Haas). While Haas‘ character must deal with his mother (Angela Bisset), his brother is lost in life until he is befriended by a scam artist (Brody).
