Adam Brody @ Live with Regis & Kelly

Adam Brody promotes his upcoming film In The Land Of Women co-starring Meg Ryan on Live with Regis & Kelly on Thursday morning. Survivor host Jeff Probst filled in for Regis. Check out the video below!

Some excerpts from his interview with InStyle:

You made geeky Seth Cohen cool on The O.C. What were you like in high school? While I wasn’t a Casanova, I had cute girlfriends. I was all about surfing and pretty much lived at the beach–I was the California Guy. I had poor grades and knew only one other Jewish kid. Then I moved to Hollywood and realized that reading and drinking coffee are where its at and that everyone’s Jewish. So I became more nerdy and embraced my neurotic side.

What will you do with your days now that the show’s over? Grow the best bear I can. I’ve had to shave every day for four years, and I’ve never been more excited to not shave–I’ve dreamed about this. Granted, it’ll be a pretty pathetic beard, but I’m going to give it my best shot. Also, I’m going to sleep in, read, see more movies, play more music, walk my dog and write.

Adam Brody: Illicit Drug Deal Gone Wrong

Geek chic Adam Brody hops back into his car after dining at a restaurant in West Hollywood on Tuesday.

The former O.C. star got an early start on summer reading, picking up the novel “No Country for Old Men” by Cormac McCarthy.

The book tells the tale of an illicit drug deal gone wrong in a remote desert location along the Texas-Mexico border in 1980.

There’s actually a film version of this book coming out later this year starring Tommy Lee Jones, Woody Harrelson and Josh Brolin (Grindhouse). No U.S. release date has been set.

Adam Brody: Seth Cohen Spin-Off Series?

Adam Brody arrives in suit and tie at the premiere of his latest film In The Land Of Women at the Cinerama Dome, Arclight Hollywood on Monday. (See movie stills and trailer here.)

What was Adam’s favorite part of making this fillm? “Well, I got to kiss a lot of ladies.”

What do you think you will miss about ‘The O.C.’? Money. Also, the steady job is nice. Even if it can be a drag or doesn’t feel artistically satisfying, there’s something nice about stability. As much as you b**** about your job, there’s some security knowing it’s there. When you do take it away, it’s definitely a different feeling. And, I’d say the people, but I still keep in contact. Everyone I really want to see from there, I do, on a pretty regular basis. Even that part is not too bad.

Would you ever do an ensemble TV show again? Sure, I would. Although, next time around, I will be thinking a little more about schedule and how it’s going to work and what it means for my days of the week. When you’re going to do something for 1-10 years, it’s something to think about. We’ll see if I’m in a position, when that happens, to factor that in.

Did anyone come at you for pilot season? little bit. I was flattered, actually. But, barely. I really wasn’t interested this year, and I don’t know how quickly that will change. I definitely was not ready to jump right back in.

The former O.C. star loves his geek chic character so much: “I’m still waiting for the spin-off. He needs one.”

Question: Would you watch a spin-off show about The O.C.’s Seth Cohen?

Adam Brody: I’m in Semi-Retirement

Adam Brody makes the leap from The O.C.’s sexy geek to Meg Ryan’s main man in In the Land of Women, out April 20.

“I’ve gained some perspective lately in my life,” he says. “A big part of it is the show ending and … I also had a long-term relationship end too,” he says about his three-year relationship with his “O.C.” co-star Rachel Bilson. “Life is so fleeting in a way — and it’s unlike me, because I’m very driven, and I get a little obsessive — but I am trying to be very Zen about it. Just enjoy it.”

“And, honestly, who cares if you get a good movie or not? I feel like I’m in semi-retirement already a little bit. I’m 27, and I have a house.” He smiles. “I’ve decided that I’m happy with my lot in life.”

Celebrities that came out for the T-Mobile Sidekick iD launch party at the T-Mobile Sidekick Lot on Friday night in Los Angeles:

Adam Brody (The O.C.), Zachary Quinto (Heroes), Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy), Shane West (ER), Michelle Rodriguez (Lost), Eric Balfour (24), Devon Aoki, Ryan Cabrera, Brody Jenner, and Nicky Hilton.

Adam Brody: Bathrobes Done Sexy

Here are some new stills of geek chic Adam Brody rocking the dorky glasses and bathrobe in his first leading role in the film In the Land of Women.

Here’s a little summary of Adam’s role In the Land of Women:

Carter Webb (Brody), a TV writer living in California, has just been broken up with by his actress girlfriend. He decides to take a time out and visit his grandmother in Detroit, but the women next door have a different idea. He meets the Hardwickes who live next door, the mother, the teenager, and the little girl, and they change each others lives forever.

In the Land of Women is set for a April 20 release and co-stars Meg Ryan and the up-and-coming Dustin Milligan (Runaway).

BTW, is Adam wearing a FILA polo? Oh no he dient! Maybe it’s time to pull out that matching velour FILA tracksuit out of my closet…

Adam Brody Rocks The Red Carpet

The O.C.-licious Adam Brody walks the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of Music and Lyrics at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Wednesday night. With the The O.C. coming to a close, you can catch Adam in his first leading role in In the Land of Women co-starring Meg Ryan and the up-and-coming Dustin Milligan, who I’m a very big fan of (he starred in The CW’s ill-fated Runaway). In the Land of Women is set for a April 20 release.

Also pictured: Adam Brody in scenes from tonight’s episode of The O.C.. Pictures after the jump include Rachel Bilson, Ben McKenzie, Autumn Reeser, Willa Holland, Peter Gallagher, and Kelly Rowan. The O.C. episode “The Shake Up” airs tonight, Feb. 8 @ 9PM ET/PT on FOX.

Scott Speedman Heats Up Sundance

Hotter-than-hot Scott Speedman (Felicity, Underworld) was out at Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah this weekend to pimp his new movie Weirdsville. He bumped into The O.C.’s Adam Brody (pictured above) and pregnant Felicity co-star Keri Russell (pictured below). Felicity reunion!!

In Weirdsville, Scott, 31, plays slacker Dexter alongside American Beauty’s Wes Bentley, who plays the other slacker Royce. Royce and Dexter live in the strange little town of Weirdsville. When Royce’s girlfriend Matilda (Taryn Manning) overdose’s on their stash and dies, they decide to bury her in an abandoned Drive-In theater. Things get out of control when they discover Satanists performing a ritual sacrifice right where they were going to bury the body. Um, weird.
