The only film the Queens-born actor has lined up for next year is Rian Johnson-directed film The Brothers Bloom. It’s about a con man (Brody) who gets the tables turned on him by his girlfriend (Rachel Weisz). This all goes down when he decides to perform one last con with his brother and their silent partner. Rinko Kikuchi and Mark Ruffalo also star in the film.

Uber-sexy actor Adrien Brody claims InStyle magazine’s “Man of Style” title in their December 2007 issue.
Here’s the blurb on Adrien, 34: “He’s a study in perpetual motion: Adrien Brody walks fast, eats quickly, laughs freely. Although, like most movie actors, he globe-trots for a living, this New Yorker is also a nomad off-camera. He’s just back from a month’s vacation in Peru, where he lived like a local. The lanky 34-year-old is as adept at slipping into his characters–dropping 30 pounds for his Oscar-winning role in The Pianist and crossing India in a single Louis Vuitton suit for his new film, The Darjeeling Limited. This last ‘hardship’ didn’t daunt Brody. ‘I own lots of clothes,’ he says. ‘but I usually wear the same one or two pieces anyhow!’ ”

I heard you had a motorcycle accident over in India? “No. I almost literally rear-ended a cow’s ass with my face. Out of all the places I’ve ridden or driven, India is by far the most insane. At one point we were driving, and there were two semi-trucks coming at us on our side of the highway, which has a divider, so I don’t even know how they got on our side. They were flying at us, and we had to pull over to the side of the road. It was literally a might-makes-right society as far as driving rules are concerned, so there were these tuk-tuks there. I’m passing a tuk-tuk, and as he moved, there was a cow walking in the highway. Just walking, and I literally skidded to a stop inches before a very comical demise.”
You crashed a bike in 1992? “Yeah. I had a bad accident.”
What was that about? “That was about people making a left in L.A. when the light turns yellow and they don’t look. I broadsided the car and ended up in the next crosswalk, and it was pretty severe. I didn’t ride for many years after that. I didn’t own a bike for a long time until a buddy of mine gave me one of the nicest presents I’ve ever gotten in my life for my 30th birthday and for winning an Academy Award. It was a Ducati Monster, which I couldn’t say no to, so I began riding again.”

The Academy Award winning actor was in town to for the runway shows during Paris Fashion Week. Accompanying Adrien, 34, was his Spanish actress girlfriend Elsa Pataky.
His film The Darjeeling Limited opened in limited release late last month, pulling in just $781,000 so far (it’s only in 19 theaters right now).

Oscar winner Adrien Brody looks every bit the hot young Hollywood actor in a silver shiny suit at the premiere of The Darjeeling Limited on Thursday. The event was held at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Also pictured: director Wes Anderson and costars Jason Schwartzman, Natalie Portman and Anjelica Huston. Costar Owen Wilson was reportedly at the premiere but did not walk the red carpet.
The Darjeeling Limited has scored an above average 69% on RottenTomatoes. The film opens in limited release today.

Earlier this month, Elsa accompanied Adrien on the red carpet at the The Darjeeling Limited premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
The Darjeeling Limited follows three estranged brothers taking a train ride through India after the death of their father. The film, starring Adrien, Owen Wilson and Jason Schwartzman hits theaters September 29, despite star Owen’s recent difficulties.
