• Adrien Brody‘ s actions at the pre-Espy GM party on the Paramont Studios lot last week have some wondering is he is still with longtime girlfriend Michelle Dupont. A Post spy claims Adrien was "snuggling"  with former Olympic ice-skating star Oksana Baiul at the event. A rep for Adrien said the actor was at the party but absolutely not with Oksana.  EEEEW!!!!
• Visitors to The View studios say the walls have been stripped of anything that mentions Star Jones Reynolds.  An insider says Barbara Walters had all group photographs removed and all that remain are nails.  REOW!
• Rachael Ray’s hour-long syndicated show debuts Sept. 18.  The Food Network cook says her show will present "can-do" advice about cooking, travel, relationships and pop culture trends.
• The TV movie inspired by American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino’s life will air Aug. 19 on Lifetime.
• Kellie Pickler revealed on The View this morning (she co-hosted) that she signed with Sony BMG Nashville (also Carrie Underwood’s label) her upcoming single will drop late September with her album release set for November 19th.
• Recently unsealed documents reveal the autograph on a picture of Macaulay Culkin that was found in Michael Jackson’s bedroom during a raid three years ago. It message stated, "To Apple Head.  Always remember to keep Apple Head Club Doo Doo Head Alive."  It was signed, "Macaulay Culkin"  and in parenthesis, "Doo Doo Head."   Apparently, Jackson and his pals were "Doo Doo Heads" in their secret society "the Apple Club."  HMMMMMM.

Hollywoodland is the haunting true story from Focus Features about the investigation into the supposed suicide of famous TV-Superman, George Reeves.

The movie will be released in theaters on September 8, 2006. Until then however, you can catch up with the trailer or take a look at some of the image stills in the gallery.

Hollywoodland synopsis:

A uniquely compelling exploration of fame and identity. The drama, inspired by one of Hollywood’s most infamous real-life mysteries, follows a 1950s private detective (Academy Award winner Adrien Brody) who, investigating the mysterious death of "Superman" star George Reeves (Academy Award winner Ben Affleck), uncovers unexpected connections to his own life as the case turns more personal. The torrid affair Reeves had with the wife (Academy Award nominee Diane Lane) of a studio executive (Academy Award nominee Bob Hoskins) might hold the key to the truth.

And [a pink-clad matador] is the latest role that Adrien Brody has found himself in… and my, does he look good in figure-hugging fuchsia. The Oscar-winning actor is wearing the bizarre costume for his new movie Manolete, also starring Penélope Cruz. The film tells the story of one of Spain’s best-known matadors, who was finally killed in the bullring by a horn to the thigh. But acting as the great bullfighter means Adrien has to deck himself out in flamboyant costumes like this.
