Adrienne Bailon (in Giuseppe Zanotti buckle boots) brightens things up as she arrives at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday (September 13).
The 25-year-old former Cheetah Girls singer was in Grand Central Terminal earlier in the week at the “Center Court for Kids”. On Friday, she dropped by the BMI Urban Awards at Lincoln Center.
The 2009 Video Music Awards will be hosted by Russell Brand and will air live @9PM ET/PT on MTV.

Last week, I ran into the 25-year-old former Cheetah Girl (in French Connection) at the 10th anniversary celebration of Nylon Magazine at NYC’s Thompson LES. There, I learned MTV picked up the second cycle of New Afternoons on MTV, which will kick off on April 13th. She’ll be hosting the afternoon block of programming on MTV and will also host specials and do celeb interviews.
Adrienne also just signed her first solo music deal with Def Jam and L.A Reid. She’s in the studio and working with chart topping producers including Brian Michael Cox (Usher, Mariah Carey, Mary J. The trio has been growing closer lately, with Adrienne saying, “We’re like sisters! People don’t realize when we’re not working together we hang out together. We go on vacations together. We’re totally not that catty girl group!”

Disney starlets Sabrina Bryan, Kiely Williams and Adrienne Bailon of the Cheetah Girls arrive at the premiere of their new Disney Channel movie, The Cheetah Girls One World, held at the El Capitan Theater on Tuesday in Hollywood.
Sabrina, 23, paired her purple-licious Versace mini with Louboutin shoes. Kiely, 22, wore an Alexander McQueen floor-grazing gown and finished off her look Bochic jewels. Adrienne, 24, donned a Roberto Cavalli one-shoulder sheath and accessorized with Jimmy Choo shoes, Bochic and Amrali jewelry, and a Daniel Swavarski clutch.
The trio will host a cheetah-licious weekend, featuring the world premiere of The Cheetah Girls One World on Friday, August 22 @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel. This music-driven movie, filmed in Mumbai and Udaipur, India, continues the story of best friends Chanel, Aqua and Dorinda as they pursue their dream to become recording artists and embark on their biggest adventure yet – starring in a Bollywood movie. But when they arrive in India, the trio is surprised to learn the producer only wants one Cheetah Girl to star in his movie.
