• Courtney Love is denying rumors that she had gastric-band surgery to lose weight and says that Oprah was her inspiration to get slim. “I couldn’t get that surgery if I begged,” Love wrote on her website. Love also says she has rekindled her friendships with Drew Barrymore and Gwyneth Paltrow and that A-list celebrities will star in an upcoming biopic about her and Kurt Cobain. /
• Leonardo DiCaprio’s rep is denying British reports that DiCaprio and girlfriend Bar Rafaeli are expecting.
• The Daily News claims that Jennifer Lopez is sounding more and more like a Scientologist because she used a popular Scientology term “Rightness” on American Idol Wednesday
• Disturbia star Shia LaBeouf has signed on to co-star in the fourth installment of Indiana Jones.
• Abigail Breslin has landed the role of Kit Kitredge- a role HBO Films has adapted from the book series and doll. The movie will be out by the end of the year.

• Tom Cruise is expected to attend the Conde Nast Black Ball at Hammerstein Ballroom tomorrow night. Cruise bought a $50,000 table at the event, which will be hosted by Alicia Keys and Iman.
• Abbie Cornish was a no-show at a screening for her movie Candy. Organizers say it had nothing to do with rumors that she is cause of Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon’s split last week.
