Model Alexa Chung will create a fall collection for Madewell, part of the J. Crew group.

The 26-year-old former host of It’s On with Alexa Chung will put her own spin on polka-dot tea dresses, high-waisted skinny jeans and t-shirts with her own photographs and illustrations, WWD reports.

“I was being offered so many collaborations for a long time, but I held off. I thought it would be quite a ’sellout’ thing to do,” Alexa said, “but Madewell had a more organic approach. They seemed really interested in my ideas and it’s a brand that I really admire.”

FYI: Sarah Jessica Parker is also lending her fashion know-how to a line - she’s joining Halston as their president and chief creative officer!

Alexa Chung will present the last of the current MTV series, It’s On With Alexa Chung, this Thursday (December 17) . She has enjoyed two fantastic seasons, interviewing celebs such as Gerard Butler, Cameron Diaz and Daniel Radcliffe.

The 26-year-old British TV presenter is still under contract with MTV until next spring and has no immediate plans to leave the United States or New York.

Alexa is currently fielding offers across TV presenting, acting and modeling. She’ll be taking a nice break over the holiday period to consider all of these new opportunities.

Last night, the 21-year-old Bajan beauty rocked the UCLA stage with two songs at Jay-Z’s concert.

Tonight, Rihanna will be honored at Glamour magazine’s “Women of the Year” celebration at Carnegie Hall. Unfortunately, she won’t be the special musical performance of the evening!

The 25-year-old model and host of It’s On with Alexa Chung posed for Sharif Hamza and spoke about living in Brooklyn, anxieties and friendships.

On It’s On jitters: “I’m worried my guests won’t like me.”

On making friends in a new environment: “I don’t really have any friends in America…I just don’t tolerate douche bags”

On her new place: “I think my apartment is too shiny. I just found out that (Vampire Diaries‘ Ian Somerhalder) used to live in it. And the other day when I was in the laundry room, I heard that Michael Douglas’ son is looking to move into the building.”

Victoria Beckham dons yet another LBD at the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2010 Show at Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground during London Fashion Week on Tuesday (September 22) in London, England.

The princess of girl-power pop-punk says her fourth record “is about feelings. [My husband Deryck Whibley] added so much. He’s already a performer. So instead of your typical pop producer, he is an actual musician.”

“Everything I do has always been about my music,” Avril adds. “Now, for the first time, I’m branching out. I work n the clothing line every day – it never ends, but its fun work. Designing is an ongoing process. And it’s all I wear. I don’t shop anymore. My favorite item in the line is a black hoodie, because I perfected it to exactly how I love hoodies – slim and long, and the hood is like, huge.”

British TV presenter Alexa Chung DJs the party celebrating the lighting of the Burberry sign across the Manhattan skyline at The New York Palace Hotel on Thursday (May 28).

“[Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey] asked me to DJ and so I did because he’s great and he likes very much the same music as me,” the 25-year-old told me. “It’s easy; you just push a few buttons.”

Next month, It’s On With Alexa Chung will premiere on MTV as the successor to the trail-blazing TRL.

“June 15th we go live,” Alexa tells JustJared.com. “It’s live five days a week and it’s an hour long with celebrity guests, bands, and a Twitter format. I think the guests on the first episode will be Jack Black and Michael Cera.” (They’ll be promoting their new movie Year One, out June 19.)
