Amy Winehouse was released on bail Wednesday night after being arrested on suspicion of drug violations.

Amy, 24, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of drug offenses and was questioned by police in East London, her rep told the BBC on Wednesday.

The Grammy-winner voluntarily sat down with detectives after police obtained a video which allegedly showed her taking narcotics.

Amy has now been released on bail until later this month pending further inquiries.

Her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, 25, is due to stand trial in June charged with trying to pervert the course of justice and inflicting grievous bodily harm during a pub brawl.

Amy Winehouse was arrested after allegedly attacked a man after a night out in north London, reports TMZ.

The 24-year-old troubled singer allegedly headbutted a guy outside a bar earlier this week.

If convicted, Wino could face six months in jail. She’s currently being held at Holborn Police Station.

Her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently in prison for charges stemming from a pub brawl.

UPDATE: JJ reader Dani writes in to say that Amy’s protruding muscle is the Sartorius muscle, a long thin muscle that runs down the length of the thigh. It is the longest muscle in the human body! Who knew!

Amy Winehouse still seems to be a party animal, even without leaving her house! On Tuesday at 5:30am her friends could be seen leaving her Camden house looking a little worse for wear, as she shouted goodbye from the doorway.

According to reports, Amy has been offered a lucrative deal by top fashion designer Roberto Cavalli to wear his outfits. The offer comes after Victoria Beckham told Cavelli that she admired Amy’s unique sense of style.

A spokesman for the singer said: “Amy is considering many offers at the moment.”

Amy Winehouse has bumps on her face as of late because she’s been battling impetigo.

The bacterial skin infection usually produces blisters or sores on the face and hands and is “highly contagious, and scratching or touching the sores is likely to spread the infection to other parts of the body as well as to other people.”

Winehouse, 24, had been prescribed antibiotics to fight off the disease.

YUCK.
