Katie Holmes and co-star Anna Paquin shoot new scenes for their comedy, The Romantics, in Long Island, New York on Monday afternoon (November 9).
Katie, who replaced Liv Tyler, will play Anna’s best friend and maid of honor in the flick.
If you missed it, while in Boston on Friday, Katie and adorable daughter Suri wore matching outfits for Katie’s new fashion label Holmes & Yang. So cute!
Stephen Moyer’s proposal to True Blood co-star Anna Paquin was partly thanks to his character, Bill, Stephen reveals in the November issue of British Glamour magazine, People reports.
“There’s a song Bill listens to in the car about a white sandy beach,” Stephen, 39, shared, “so we decided to go away for a break – to a white sandy beach – and that’s where it happened.”
The British actor also shared that his romance with Anna, 27, was kept secret for about 10 months.
“One of the cast had to do an intimate scene with Anna,” Stephen said.
“I felt it would be so wrong for him to do it, then find out down the line that we were together.”
Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are all smiles as they accept their “Best Horror Actor” awards at Spike TV’s Scream Awards 2009 held at the Greek Theatre on Saturday (October 17) in Los Angeles.
Anna, 27, and Stephen, 40, took home the “Best Horror Actor” awards for their respective genders, and True Blood took home the “Best TV Show” honor, presented by the cast of The Vampire Diaries.
The on-set and real-life lovebirds will take part in the upcoming thriller Open House, but the two will only make brief cameos in the movie. Anna’s brother Andrew is directing the film, out next year.

True Blood stars and real-life couple Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin host the L.A. Dogworks and Good Dog Animal Rescue fund raiser on Wednesday (September 23) in Los Angeles.
“Splash, my alpha, will be the ringbearer,” Stephen told People at the event. “My son [Billy, born in 2000] might be unhappy about that.” (Splash is Stephen’s 10-year-old border collie that he calls “a grumpy little sod.”)

True Blood hunk Stephen Moyer suits up in a tux for the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday (September 20) in Los Angeles.
On the red carpet, the 39-year-old British actor said that he proposed to co-star Anna Paquin during an intimate dinner in Hawaii. He said he got Anna’s ring size from their show’s costumer designer, Audrey Fisher, so he as able to have the engagement ring created without anyone knowing.

Last Thursday, the 27-year-old True Blood star talked about the upcoming season of True Blood, telling the audience about what to expect for her character. “Even if it’s just a dream, odds are we’ll be privy to some extra lovin’ between poor, duped Sookie and conniving Eric [Alexander Skarsgård]. “She drank his blood, so now she has really vivid sexual fantasies about him. I guess that’s how it works,” Anna told E!. “Because in season one after she drinks Bill’s [Stephen Moyer] blood, she has a moment outside of his house…She’s kind of sitting there by herself having a little touch and feel.”

Here’s what the 27-year-old on-screen vamp said about TV acting: “It never occurred to me that one form of acting was better than another. I think if you approach your career like that you’re limiting yourself to a very boring path. For me, it’s about the material.”
Her on-and-off-screen lover Stephen Moyer also had a few words about vampire sex: “The thing about vampirism is that it taps into a female point of view – you have an old-fashioned gentleman with manners who is a f—ing killer… it’s an interesting duality, because in our present society it would be an odd thing for a woman to say, ‘I want my man to be physical with me.’ How, as a modern man, can you f—ing work that? It’s one thing to be polite and gentle… But when do you know it’s OK to crawl out of the mud and rape her [as Bill does in one scene]?… It’s difficult stuff for a bloke, but a vampire gets away with it…. I think that’s the attraction of the show – it’s looking back at a romantic time when men were men, but they were still charming.”

The 27-year-old True Blood star apparently doesn’t get shy stripping down for sex scenes. “It’s like, I’m sorry, maybe there are a lot of women who keep their bras on while they have sex… I don’t happen to be one of them,” she tells Nylon magazine. “I don’t think the naked body is particularly shocking or interesting.”
Anna also talked about how her physical appearance has changed the public’s perception of her. “People are incredibly literal sometimes in how they view you. You have dark hair and pale skin? You must be brooding. The second you dye your hair blond and get a spray tan, people treat you as if you’re a bit stupider and happier.”
