Jessica Stroup strikes a fierce pose at NY Fashion Week presented by Mercedes-Benz at Bryant Park on Friday (September 11) in New York City. Here’s what the 22-year-old 90210 actress told JustJared.com in an exclusive interview on the runway of the Charlotte Ronson show:
JS: Hey! I love your website!
JJ: Thank you so much! Can you share some of your favorite trends for fall?
JS: I’m loving and living in an Edie Sedgwick (Andy Warhol’s model muse) phase! I’m wearing shorts with the tights and the high heels and all of that. That’s my favorite staple. Otherwise, I’m really obsessed with 7 [for All Mankind] jeans right now. They’ve revamped themselves and every single jean they put out, I have to have. I’m living in them, wearing them everyday. And blazers! Alexander Wang, I think he has fantastic stuff, and I’m really living in his blazer right now.
JJ: Which other shows are you going to today?
JS: I’m only here for two days, so I’m actually only going to Vivienne Tam tomorrow and that’s it. I gotta head back to set [to shoot 90210].
JJ: What other projects do you have going on right now besides 90210?
JS: Right now…we’re in the middle of filming and I’m not allowed to say anything until hiatus! So I’m kind of just reading scripts and hoping to plan for something for hiatus.
JJ: What’s happening in the next episode of 90210? What can viewers expect?
JS: Well, Silver still thinks she has a chance to be with Dixon, and she’s going to try her mightiest. You know, I think this year it’s really delving into character stories, it’s not just like, what can we write and what can we do to make it exciting. You’re actually seeing the characters and they’re evolving, and it’s so much fun! We’re outdoors a lot. I think there might actually be a yacht in the next one.
And since it was Charlotte’s show, of course Jessica was wearing one of Charlotte’s dresses.
