A host of big-name international acts attended the second annual MTV Australia Video Music Awards at the Sydney SuperDome earlier today, including the Simpson sisters, Jessica and Ashlee, who hosted the awards ceremony. Sydney, Australia :: Jessica Simpson, her hairdresser Ken Paves, sister Ashlee Simpson and her boyfriend/guitarist Braxton Olita boarded a King St. Wharf ship for a sightseeing day cruise in Sydney Harbor yesterday afternoon.  Loving both Simpson sisters outfits and for the record… poor Braxton, he doesn’t even stand a chance.  Tomorrow,  Ashlee, 21, will be hosting the MTV Australia Video Music Awards at Sydney’s Olympic Park.  More pictures in the gallery!

Sydney, Australia ::  Only in Australia would you find the rare phenomenon of wearing tight fitting swimming attire in everyday urban life. Singer/actress Ashlee Simpson, 21, embraced this uniquely Australian tradition by posing alongside a bunch of Australian mates in their cossies at the MTV Australia Video Music Awards 2006 Press Conference earlier today at the Sydney Hilton.  Ashlee will be hosting the MTV VMAs at the Synday SuperDome tomorrow, April 12.  More pictures in the gallery!

Sydney, Australia :: The Simpson Sisters are in Sydney this week!  (Have both had collagen injections done before?) Singer/actress Jessica Simpson, 25, was tapped to be a last minute guest (exact role unknown) for this week’s MTV Australian Video Music Awards.  Her singer/actress sister Ashlee Simpson, 21, will be hosting the event on Wednesday night at Sydney’s Olympic Park.  After arriving at Sydney International Airport via an early morning Qantas flight from Los Angeles, they were  ushered through a VIP customs exit and greeted by dozens of photographers and television camera crews.
