Rihanna(in Emma Cook) follows in her main man Chris Brown’s shadow as they buy groceries together at a supermarket in West Hollywood on Thursday.

The pair (not a couple!) did not walk directly next to each other and kept a safe distance away from one another. But what’s the point when you’re photographed in the same picture together?!

Brown reportedly said they are taking their relationship to the next level, however. He said, “Our relationship is growing. We started off as friends and we’re getting a little bit closer now… But I don’t want to let down all my girlfriends, so all the ladies out there, I still love y’all!”

Ashlee Simpson was just spotted shopping up a storm at Eskell boutique in Chicago, Ill., on Wednesday afternoon (3PM EST).

A spywitness reveals the 23-year-old expectant mommy picked up “tons of new clothing. The owners gave her a free dress and made plans to hang out with Ashlee this weekend.”

Seems like Ashlee is going to be spending a couple of days in the Windy City!

Accompanied by husband Pete Wentz, mom-to-be Ashlee Simpson gets a routine check-up in West Hollywood on Thursday morning.

When asked about her pregnancy, Ashlee said “everything’s fine”.

Added the 29-year-old Fall Out Boy bassist to In Touch recently, “I’d like to know the sex of the baby. It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!”

Asked to talk about their new home, Mr. Ashlee Simpson gushed, “It’s ours together — that’s the beautiful thing about marriage.”

When asked how big of a family they went, Pete joked, “I want either a band or a football team or a good geometry club.”

Mrs. Wentz attended a taping of her husband Pete new MTV show, FNMTV (read: effin’ MTV), which hopes to “save the music video”.

The new video show is hosted by Pete and premieres this Friday night, June 13 @ 8PM ET/PT. It will feature a live performance by Panic at the Disco and world premieres of videos from Flo Rida, the Ting Tings, Snoop Dogg and the Pussycat Dolls.

Jessica Simpson connects with the baby bump of younger sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz at the grand opening of Palms Place Hotel & Spa on Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“She’ll be amazing, absolutely amazing,” Jessica, 27, told People. “They’re just the cutest couple in the world. They are adorable. Anybody would wish to be them and you can only wish them well. Just being around them inspires love and everything I sing about.”

Ashlee Simpson announced on her official website that she is postponing her summer tour, following her announcement that she is pregnant. She wrote:

“Dear friends, fans, lurkers, stalkers and s—talkers!

I’m really sorry to announce that I’m going to postpone my tour this summer.

My team gave me a few reasons I could use:

1. jury duty (but you can get out of jury duty once)

2. creative differences (but I’m a solo artist so that didn’t make sense)

3. not in the mood/have a headache (wait, that was an excuse for Pete! and it didn’t work. See next reason)

4. the baby

…and that’s where I drew the line.

The truth is I want to put on an amazing show for you the next time I come to your town. I promise I will be back, better than ever and ready to rock out. Until then,

Love, Ashlee”

Ashlee’s publicist added, “After careful consideration, Ashlee Simpson has decided to postpone her summer tour. She is committed to giving her fans the best show possible, and will be back better than ever and ready to rock in the future.”

Pete Wentz explained to MTV News why he initially denied the pregnancy rumors. He said, “We wanted to wait until after the first trimester and get a clean bill of health from our doctors before confirming anything, just like any other couple.”
