Ashlee Simpson helps promote PaleyFest: Fall TV Preview Party held at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills on Monday (September 14).

The 24-year-old Melrose Place star took part in the event (September 9 - 15) where the five major networks (CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, CW) screen pilot episodes of their new fall TV shows.

The CW drew just 2.6 million viewers for the second-season premiere of 90210 and 2.3 million for the debut of Melrose Place.

An all new episode of Melrose Place airs on Tuesday, 9/8c.

Ashlee Simpson models a shiny new Seven for all Mankind jacket at the Piperlime Closet in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City on Thursday (September 3).

The 24-year-old Melrose Place star picked out clothes with her stylist and received a sneak-preview of the site’s apparel launch on Piperlime.com.

Ashlee Simpson heads to her car after a flight to New York City’s JFK airport on Wednesday (September 2).

The 24-year-old singer and actress will be appearing on MTV’s It’s On with Alexa Chung to promote her new TV show, Melrose Place, where she plays Violet.

“We have enough family in the business, so we’re good on that, I think we’ve got that covered,” she recently said about her famous family.

Melrose Place premieres on the CW next Tuesday (Sept. 8) at 9 pm EST.

Ashlee Simpson is all smiles at InStyle Magazine’s 2009 Summer Soiree held at the London Hotel on Thursday (August 20), 2009 in West Hollywood.

The 24-year-old actress recently described her character in the upcoming reboot of Melrose Place. “She is a little weird,” she told People. “I have a so-called innocent side, but I think it’s just the persona that I’m giving to people. I’m only setting people up. Her name is Violet and she’s new to Melrose Place, new to L.A., looking for a family member — looking for any kind of family, looking for love. She’s really not accepted — not just yet. I think that’s something interesting, to play the outsider.”

Fall Out Boy frontman Pete Wentz and his wife, Melrose Place actress Ashlee Simpson, pose with their son Bronx, 8 1/2 months, in their baby’s Disney-fied nursery (you can see Winnie the Pooh and Piglet in the background).

Pete writes, “You know I wrote that I didn’t really want to post pictures of Bronx out there. I feel like it would be damaging to our family and besides, he’s not old enough to decide if he wants to be an avatar or not. But the truth is I want him to know there is other stuff out there on the web about him that isn’t damaging and is just normal. Besides we had an old friend come and just take some pics so we could remember him when he was this lil. He’s blonde now.”

Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz are featured in NOH8 Campaign’s second PSA titled “I’m Coming Out” to help raise awareness about marriage equality.

NOH8 is a campaign in response to Propostion 8, the Supreme Court ruling that upheld a ban on gay marriage.
