Ashlee Simpson brings baby Bronx, 4 months, to the set of her new CW show, Melrose Place, in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday (April 18).

The new Melrose Place is a a remake of the hit 90’s show. The cast also includes Katie Cassidy, Laura Leighton, Jessica Lucas, Stephanie Jacobsen, Ryan Eggold, Michael Rady, Shaun Sipos, Colin Egglesfield and Thomas Calabro. Ashlee will play the role of Violet Foster, a small-town girl who comes to L.A. with a secret.

Fallout Boy bassist Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson have just showed off the Disney-fied bedroom of their baby boy Bronx Wentz, 4 months.

Pete, 29, writes, “I know we’ve been very protective over our son and what people see. But everyone knows we’re huge Disney fans and we wanted to give the peeps over at Disney Consumer Products a shout-out for coming in and helping design his nursery. These are pictures of the walls before we got all his gear in there. The chalk board is real. We also had the artist that draws Pooh do the art…. Eeyore’s tail is velcroed on.”

Jessica Simpson and boyfriend Tony Romo, go out to dinner with sister Ashlee and dad Joe at Beso on Saturday (April 11) in West Hollywood, CA.

The 28-year-old singer recently parted ways with the label Sony Nashville. “Jessica is and has always been an Epic artist. She was on loan to Sony Nashville for her country album. She continues to be on Epic’s label,” her rep told Us Weekly.

While her country debut Do You Know opened at Number One, it sold less than 200,000 copies. Jessica’s bio and information are no longer available on Columbia Nashville or Sony Nashville’s web sites.

Ashlee Simpson shows off her baby boy Bronx Wentz, 4 months, in this new picture posted on her Twitter.

The 24-year-old actress/singer writes, “I present you my little man and his adorable cheeks!”

She also invited Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s little sister) over to her home. She writes, “Yeah I’m in town shooting tomorrow but around this week. You guys should come over.”

Solange has a 4-year-old son named Daniel Julez Smith, Jr.

Ashlee Simpson gives her husband, Pete Wentz, a huge kiss at the Vodafone MTV Australia Awards 2009 in Sydney, Australia on Friday (March 27).

The 24-year-old singer brushed off rumors that her marriage with the Fall Out Boy singer was in the rocks because of his constant partying. A spokesperson for the two said that “everything is fine in their world.”

The couple who were married in May, have a 3-month-old son together, Bronx Mowgli.

Ashlee Simpson has joined the cast of The CW’s revival of Melrose Place.

According to EW, the 24-year-old former 7th Heaven actress will play “small-town girl Violet, a character whose disarming naiveté masks the calculating, shrewd sex kitten within.”

Already on board for Melrose Place is Katie Cassidy as publicist Ella and Michael Rady as aspiring filmmaker Jonah.

UPDATE: Ashlee confirms the news to OK!, saying, “I’m thrilled to be joining the cast of Melrose Place and look forward to being a part of its new generation of residents.”

Pete, 29, recently shared his secret to putting Bronx to sleep. He told UK’s Daily Mail, “To get our son to sleep we play him Bob Dylan’s ‘You Belong To Me’. Or a little Sinatra.”

The Fall Out Boy rocker continued, “My boy’s probably the last person in the world to appreciate my singing voice. Although I wrote a lullaby especially for him – you’ll find it on our new album if you look hard enough – it’s a hidden track. We had so much fun doing it I’m going to put out an album of songs for children.”

Jessica Simpson’s recent weight gain has become all the buzz lately. Her little sister Ashlee has taken to her MySpace to vent her frustration:

“Since when did a woman’s weight become newsworthy… I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight. A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline on Fox News (”Jessica Simpson Shocks Fans With Noticeably Fuller Figure”.)

“All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard. Is this something you would say to your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or even a friend? I seriously doubt it.

“How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure? Now can we focus on the things that really matter. -Ash ”

Earlier today, one of Jessica’s trainers also defended her fuller figure.
