Ashton Kutcher recently revealed that he has long been contemplating adoption and that someday he will expand his family.

The 30-year-old is stepfather to Rumer, 19, Scout, 16, and Tallulah, 14 - Demi’s daughters with Bruce Willis - and the actor insists he dreams of “someday” expanding their brood with children of his own. But the Hollywood heartthrob admits he hasn’t ruled out adoption, since he has always been drawn to the idea of taking in an orphaned child.

He says, “I have thought about adopting a kid my whole life. When I was eight I had a friend called Terry and one day he told me he was adopted.

“He said his parents told him there was a more special bond between them because they picked him. I thought that was pretty profound and I would be open to the idea.”

But Cameron, 35, recently said in an interview she didn’t think she would find her Prince Charming in real-life. She said, “You’re always told he has to look like this and this is how he exists in all the storybooks - but it doesn’t always come in those packages.”

“And people are not always what they seem to be. I wasn’t really a big fairy-tale girl when I was growing up.”

What Happens in Vegas… will be in theaters this Friday.

Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher arrive at the Los Angeles premiere of What Happens In Vegas held at Mann Village Theatre on Thursday.

Cameron, 35, plays Joy McNally who gets dumped by her boyfriend while Ashton, 30, plays Jack Fuller who gets fired from his job. Convinced by their friends, the two end up going to Las Vegas and in one drunken night of passion, they discover they’ve gotten married following a night of debauchery in Sin City, and while trying to end the marriage, one of them has won a huge jackpot after playing the other’s quarter. The newlyweds devise ever-escalating schemes to undermine each other and get their hands on the money, only to find themselves falling in love.

Ashton Kutcher talks about being Mr. Demi Moore and what it takes to be a good stepfather in the May 2008 issue of Details, on newsstands nationwide next week.

The mag describes Ashton as “tall, slender, and athletic. His feet are notably small, his fingers are long, and the backs of his hands are pink.” How small are his feet?????

Here are some choice quotes from the mega-producer’s interview:

On using shapes to describe his life: “You’ve got a square inside of a circle. So my whole life is this circle. Maybe my life started out inside this circle and I couldn’t see outside. But I just kept putting stuff in the circle and the circle gets bigger and bigger so that it can hold all this stuff.” (Um, what?!)

On his religious preference: “I’ll use whatever works. I’m not a follower of this or that religious leader. More wars are started because of religious leaders, and people are following and they don’t know why….That is religiosity. That is what turns people into robots.” (During the interview, he gives a 20-minute discourse on practicing Kabbalah.)

On wife Demi Moore: “She was the first person who would call me on my s—. She didn’t need me. She straight up didn’t need me. She wanted me, but she didn’t need me, so she could put it on the line.” (How sweet of Demi!)

On how he ended his interview with Details: “She says she’s tired of sharing me. I have to go home now.” (Whipped!!)

Ashton Kutcher films a scene from his upcoming film, Spread in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Spread is a sex comedy centered on a serial womanizer (Ashton) and his jilted lover.

Ashton is also set to executive produce a BBC comedy retooled for the American market. The ABC network has ordered a pilot episode of Roman’s Empire, to be co-produced by Britain’s Tiger Aspect and Ashton’s production company Katalyst.
