Sophia, 27, looked stunning in an orange tiered dress from the J. Crew Collection and a Judith Leiber clutch.

Austin Nichols is proud to be a One Tree Hill cast member!

The 29-year-old actor, who’s dating his co-star Sophia Bush, recently sat down with Examiner.com to talk what’s next for the show, his newest interest and finally being a One Tree Hill regular…

On being a recurring character on the show: “It’s great. It’s exciting. It’s different from being a guest. You feel more responsible for the show as a whole, for the final in product, as a regular. But it’s been fun. As far as I can tell, this season there has been really great material and better than any season before it so it’s been really cool.”

On what he hopes happens on the show with Sophia: “When Mark (Schwahn, the show’s creator) asked me to come back as a series regular I told him I only would if we could make a really powerful love story for Brooke and Julian. I wanted him to give them the greatest love story. I mentioned The Notebook to him. I wanted him to give them that kind of love and story, a fountainhead love.

“And in The Notebook even when they fight, it’s how it is now for Brooke and Julian, it’s fun to watch them fight. It’s sexy. It’s inspiring.”

On what he likes to do off-screen: “I’ve really been interested in architecture lately. I really want to buy a house and fix it up. There’s this incredible artist out there that inspires me, Donald Judd. All of his work is in Marfa, TX. It’s a really small town that has kept his work and the buildings that he owned all around it. The town now is really influenced by his style and it’s great.”

Last weekend, the couple was spotted at a Halloween masquerade ball in Mafta, Texas as hosted by The Art of Elysium, Gilt Groupe, and Interview Magazine.

Sophia Bush stops by The Bonnie Hunt Show on Tuesday (October 13) and shares that she’s honored that she was be asked to join the organization Teachers Count because her teachers were so influential in who she has become.

The 27-year-old One Tree Hill actress said, “I think particularly with young people in the entertainment industry, the focus has gotten inappropriate. When people can have careers which consist of nothing but going to parties…and they get paid to go to parties because they’ve been less than clothed…it’s not something I can believe in. The ‘I”ll do anything to be famous’ standard doesn’t last.”

As for what she finds sexy, Sophia said, “I think smart is sexy because that’s all that lasts.”

We bet Austin Nichols is a very smart man, then! (They were spotted holding hands at Sunday’s Hollywood Style Awards.)

Sophia Bush cools down by grabbing some Pop Yogurt sweet treats with her One Tree Hill costar (and rumored on-again boyfriend) Austin Nichols in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City on Friday afternoon (August 21).

Last weekend, Sophia, 27, and Austin, 29, arrived in the Big Apple together via LaGuardia airport. Last night, the twosome hit up The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers to celebrate Charlotte Ronson’s new I “Heart” Ronson collection.

On-again, off-again couple Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols seem to be on-again as they arrive together at LaGuardia Airport in New York City on Sunday (August 17).

Sophia was seen lugging around a black Titan rolling suitcase, a Max Azria shopping bag and a gray quilted Chanel handbag.

The One Tree Hill costars have been busy in North Carolina shooting their upcoming CW series. Sophia, 27, and Austin, 29, reportedly started dating in early 2006.

Sophia Bush and her One Tree Hill costar Austin Nichols may have rekindled their romance.

The twosome was spotted catching a connecting flight in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday (July 26) and took pictures with fans who spotted them together.

Sophia, 27, and Austin, 29, met through mutual friend Jake Gyllenhaal in mid-2005 and reportedly started dating in early 2006. Since 2008, Austin has appeared in a recurring role as Julian Baker on OTH.
