Hugh Jackman gives his 4-year-old daughter, Ava, a ride on his shoulders as he picks her up from gymnastic class on Monday (March 8) in New York City.

The 41-year-old Aussie actor also playfully switched with another father and gave one of Ava’s classmate a ride too.

It was recently announced that Hugh will get a chance to work with musician Lenny Kravitz for his next film, Selma. According to MTV, Lenny will be playing civil rights pioneer Andrew Young in the film directed by Precious‘ Lee Daniels.

Hugh Jackman plays with his kids Oscar and Ava in the snow around their West Village apartment in New York City earlier this week.

Fox 2000 and Seed Prods., Hugh’s production company with John Palermo, will soon adapt UK author Catherine Fisher’s young-adult novel Incarceron for the silver screen.

Incarceron, which was released in the U.S. a few weeks ago, has already made its way onto the New York Times children’s bestsellers list. The sequel Sapphique is due out next January.

Hugh Jackman enjoys a nice stroll as he pushes his 4-year-old daughter Ava around in New York City on Monday (February 1).

The 41-year-old Aussie actor recently helped celebrate Oprah Winfrey’s 56th birthday.

Appearing on her show via video chat, Hugh sang “Happy Birthday” to the host.

“Happy birthday Oprah! I wish I could be there to give you a huge hug,” Hugh told Oprah. “I love you and I will have a nice glass of red in your honor.”

Hugh Jackman playfully chomps on Ava’s hand and leg after picking her up from school in New York City on Tursday (January 26).

In June, the 41-year-old Aussie actor will be heading to Michigan to work on his next project Real Steel.

Hugh will play an ex-boxer named Charlie in the sci-fi action film set in the near future where large one-ton robots replace human boxers.

Hugh Jackman and his family have a fun time together in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, touring the city on Thursday and visiting a museum on Friday (January 15).

After shopping for kids’ clothes and playing in the park together the day before, the 41-year-old Aussie actor and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, brought Oscar, 9, and Ava, 4, to Rio’s Museu de Arte Moderna.

Hugh also took time out to sign autographs for fans waiting at his hotel before heading in for the night.
