Last week, Avril Lavigne filed for divorce from her husband, Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley, but rumors are circulating around the Internet that she’s already moved on to Dole Food Company billionaire Justin Murdock.
“They’re not dating,” a source tells JustJared.com. “In fact, they haven’t even met!”
Avril and Deryck were married for three years. The divorce documents cite “irreconcilable differences.” The pair collaborated on Avril’s forthcoming album.
Avril Lavigne has pulled the plug on her relationship with Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley.

“Deryck and I have been together for 6 and a half years. We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21. I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know and I love him with all my heart. Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note. Thank you to all my family, friends and fans for all your support.”
Avril, 24, and Deryck, 29, have been married for over three years. Best of luck to the two of them!

The princess of girl-power pop-punk says her fourth record “is about feelings. [My husband Deryck Whibley] added so much. He’s already a performer. So instead of your typical pop producer, he is an actual musician.”
“Everything I do has always been about my music,” Avril adds. “Now, for the first time, I’m branching out. I work n the clothing line every day – it never ends, but its fun work. Designing is an ongoing process. And it’s all I wear. I don’t shop anymore. My favorite item in the line is a black hoodie, because I perfected it to exactly how I love hoodies – slim and long, and the hood is like, huge.”

Avril Lavigne’s upcoming fourth album will be taking a completely different approach to her music.
“A lot of the songs are mainly the acoustic and my vocal,” the 24-year-old Canadian singer told Billboard. “It’s a lot different from anything I’ve done before. It’s not a pop-rock record. This is more about emotion and feeling.”
Avril also tells EW, “This record, I just really, really wanted to sing. We started recording each song, some of them, just with acoustic guitar and the vocal and building it from there. It’s stripped down. I love performing that way, so I really felt like it was time to make a record like that. To just make it all about the vocal and the performance, and the vibe, and the emotion.”
Avril’s still-untitled album is set for a November 17th release. Below is a snippet of one of the album’s songs, “Black Star” (also the name of Avril’s fragrance of the same name).

The 24-year-old punk singer is in town from launching her very first fragrance ‘Black Star’ a week ago. Avril also revealed last February that she plans to launch her very own clothing line as well.
