Avril Lavigne goes back to her punk roots (and uber-conservative compared to her recent risque photoshoot with Blender) at the Maxim Hot 100 Party at NYC’s Gansevoort Hotel on Wednesday.

Avril, 22, came in at #15 on the Maxim Hot 100 list, squeezed between Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl and songstress Ashlee Simpson.

Glam rock queen Avril Lavigne forgets the glam at home, rocking out to her hit single “Girlfriend” on The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday.

Her punk performance outfit included a “ZOMBIE BEWARE” t-shirt, checkerboard suspenders, a spiky pink plastic bracelet, chipped pink nail polish, baggy capris, and skull-lined high-tops.
