Alicia Keys does her best impression of First Lady Michelle Obama in this new photo from Glamour mag’s tribute to American Icons.

The mag even had stand-ins for the Obama daughters — Malia and Natasha (Sasha for short)!

Alicia has said of Michelle, “She has worked hard for everything she’s accomplished, and done so with grace and humility. So many women and girls can identify with her story.”

Barack Obama Stars in ‘The District’

If you watch the The City, as you should, the spoof video below from Newsweek will be HILARIOUS.

In episode 1 of The District, Imas Crosson does a spot-on impression of President Barack Obama. The vid even gets the vacant stares down perfectly between Barack and Tim Geithner, The United States Secretary of the Treasury.

The District makes use of The City theme song — The Pussycat Dolls‘ On “Top of the World”! Newsweek also spoofs the network MTV, by appropriately calling themselves NTV.

The Obamas Dance the Night Away

President Barack Obama and first Lady Michelle Obama dance the night away at the Home State Inaugural Ball, representing Hawaii and Illinois, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday.

The President and First Lady danced to “At Last” by Etta James and performed by Beyonce.

First Lady Michelle Obama chose a cream-colored asymmetrical dress designed by Jason Wu. She wore a lemongrass colored outfit this afternoon during the Inauguration Ceremony.

It’s Official: President Barack Obama!

Barack Obama takes oath of office from Chief Justice John Roberts to become the 44th president of the United States of America at the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. on Tuesday.

Although the oath took place minutes after noon, the transfer to power to President Obama occurred exactly at noon, according to law.

President Obama, 47, was joined by his wife, Michelle, and daughters. Malia, 10, kept it cute in a deep-blue belted J.Crew coat while 7-year-old Sasha popped in a pink coat, also by J.Crew, paired with an orange scarf and gloves.

Congratulations President Obama! Godspeed.

Michelle Obama Debuts Inauguration Dress

Incoming First Lady, Michelle Obama, heads to St. John’s Church with President-elect Barack Obama on Tuesday morning prior to the Inauguration ceremony in Washington D.C.

Beyonce & Bono to Play for Barack

Beyonce and Bono will headline the group of entertainers slated to kick off Barack Obama’s presidential inaugural festivities in Washington D.C. next Sunday during the “We are One” celebration. Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Josh Groban, James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen and Usher will also be performing, among others.

Beyonce will also be singing for the Obama’s first dance after the inauguration.

The actual presidential inauguration will occur on Tuesday, January 20th.

UPDATE: Beyonce will be singing “At Last”! She said, “I am so honored that I will be performing for President Obama and the First Lady. Anne Hathaway to Obama: Why Rick Warren?

On Tuesday, Anne Hathaway was interviewed on the red carpet at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.

E! asked what she expected of President-elect Barack Obama in the New Year.

Said Anne, who has a gay brother, “I expect him to explain that choice of [Orange County mega-pastor] Rick Warren [to give the inauguration prayer]. I don’t get it. All my friends and I were trying to figure it out, but we just can’t. So I’d love that. Other than that, I expect nothing but the best.”

Barack Obama’s Got (Golf) Game

President-elect Barack Obama enjoys a great game of golf at the Mid-Pacific Country Club in Kailua, Hawaii on Monday.

In addition to aide Eugene Kang and friends Martin Nesbitt, Greg Orme and Bobby Titcomb, Barack was joined by a crowd of spectators with whom he chatted and shook hands.

Making the most of his time at the course, the efficient President-to-be didn’t break for lunch, but instead simply grabbed a quick bite while seated inside his golf cart.

Barack and his family are due to return to Chicago on January 1.
