Vogue editor Anna Wintour sparkles in a sequin embroidered Chanel gown at the MET Ball held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 2) in New York City.

Her daughter Bee Shaffer looked elegant in a strapless burgundy Balenciaga dress.

Singing sensation Janelle Monae also wore a blouse, black satin pants, jewels, and clutch from Chanel (pictured below). She later hit the stage at Crown Bar to perform with Bruno Mars (both dressed in Dolce&Gabbana).

The event is hosted by Anna, honorary chairs Salma Hayek, her husband Francois-Henri Pinault, and co-chairs Colin Firth, designer Stella McCartney.

Nicole Richie and Liv Tyler attend the Givenchy fashion show at the Palais de Tokyo during Paris Fashion Week on Sunday (March 6) in Paris, France.

The gals were joined at the show by Florence + the Machine singer Florence Welch and Anna Wintour, who brought along her daughter Bee Shaffer.

After the presentation, Nicole and the ladies attended a celebration of the show’s success.

Earlier in the weekend, Nicole watched the Jean-Paul Gaultier fashion show.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen look ferosh at The Art of Elysium’s second annual Bright Lights charity event held at NYC’s Milk Studios on Friday (April 30).

The event was presented by with VERSUS by Donatella Versace and designer Christopher Kane. Hosts included Joy Bryant, Sara Moonves, Bee Shaffer and Nicole Vecchiarelli.

At the Belvedere Vodka-sponsored soiree, celebs joined PSIMadeThis in designing green-colored hats to celebrate the new 100% recyclable Dasani PlantBottle plastic bottle packaging (made from up to 30% plant materials).

Other attendees: Estelle (she rocked the house during her performance), hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, Vogue‘s Anna Wintour, Janet Jackson, Christian Siriano, Just Jared, model Karolina Kurkova, Benji Madden, Veronica Webb, Alexa Chung, Joy Bryant, Naomi Campbell, Michelle Trachtenburg, Olivia Palermo, and 90210‘s Tristan Wilds.

Kings of Leon rockers Jared and Caleb Followill sit front row at the Rag & Bone Presentation Fall 2010 during Mercedes-Benz NY Fashion Week on Friday (February 12) in New York City.

The brothers sat across from Vogue editor Anna Wintour, her daughter Bee Shaffer and Grace Coddington.

“It’s weird having Anna Wintour right there looking at me,” Caleb shared. “Little does she know that my boots are three years old!”

Jared joked about the four Grammy Awards he’s racked up so far. “I’m going to melt them and create one super Grammy statue,” he joked.

The Followills attended the show to support Caleb‘s girlfriend, model Lily Aldridge, who walked the runway at the Rag & Bone show.
