In response to Miley Cyrus rapping why she left Twitter, talk show host Jimmy Fallon has created a parody video of Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, rapping about why he’s still on Twitter.

Brandi Cyrus, aka Miley’s older sister, has a new band called Frank and Derol with pals Megan Park (blonde, star of ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager) and Codi Caraco (brunette).
The trio of girls are opening up for papa Billy Ray Cyrus on Saturday at House of Blues Anaheim and Sunday at House of Blues in West Hollywood. Check out JustJared.com’s exclusive interview with Brandi from yesterday!
How did the band’s name come about? How did coming together with Megan [Park] and Codi [Caraco] come about? We all know each other through Miley’s guitar player Jaco. Codi is Jaco’s younger sister, and I met Codi in L.A. at one of Miley’s shows. And I met Megan in Nashville at a show (Megan is dating Jaco’s best friend). We just all started hanging out together and started the band for fun. The name is completely random, we think it’s funny that its two guys’ names when clearly we’re three girls!
How does the band write new music? How does the collaboration process work? Usually we all get together when we have a day off and one of us will have an idea, either a piano melody or a guitar rift and it will just come together from there. Once we get going we all just put in our creative ideas, sometimes we finish a song in a day and sometimes it takes week, it just depends.
Who inspires you musically? What was the last concert you went to? Definitely my sister and my dad, but aside from them I listen to so much different music. My favorite band of all time is Jimmy Eat World, I’ve listened to them for so long. I’m good friends with Hayley, from Paramore and I look up to her a lot. I basically watched that band build their entire career from the ground up.
Besides your music, are you working on any other projects? Music is my main priority right now, were just starting to get off the ground with Frank and Derol and we wanna go forward with full force. I’ve also always had an interest in acting and do go on auditions when I’m home. It would be rad if that picked up. I really wanna be in one of the Twilight movies!!!
What’s your favorite memory of you and Miley? Gosh, there are seriously so many! Recently, we got to play a show for our friends and like 200 fans in Nashville. It was super cool, and Sheryl Crow came and played a few songs with us. It was so amazing to get to play with her, she is a legend! And we got to do it together, it was pretty cool.

The 16-year-old actress rocked the box office and pleasantly surprised Disney with her movie Hannah Montana: The Movie over the Easter weekend. Her first non-concert film topped the North American box office raking in $34 million and beating out Fast and Furious ($28.8m) and Monsters vs Aliens ($22.6m). Disney had initially forecast that the movie would make around half of that.
In response to the great news, Miley tweeted, “omgomg! my fans rock! the movie is doing great you guys! omg AND its all cause of you!!!! I LOVE U ALL! IF YOU HAVENT SEEN IT YET CHECK IT!.”
Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines will be making a guest-starring appearance on an upcoming episode of Hannah Montana, airing Sunday, April 19 @ 7:30PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.
In the episode called “What I Don’t Like About You,” the 43-year-old actress will get to play a college recruiter who Jackson (Jason Earles) tries to impress by pretending to be a philanthropist.
Hines also has new sitcom on ABC called In the Motherhood, airing Thursdays, 8/7c. She will also will return to HBO on Curb later this year, playing Mrs. Larry David, for its seventh season. More Here! »

The 16-year-old Disney starlet worked out a gorgeous Monique Lhullier dress with a jeweled one-shoulder and bustline, Cole Haan heels and H.Stern jewels.
During the ceremony, Miley performed (pictured below) her hit song “The Climb” from her upcoming film Hannah Montana The Movie, out this Friday.

Justin Gaston spoon-feeds ice cream to girlfriend Miley Cyrus at Hollywood’s Funkiest Milkshake bar, Millions of Milkshakes, on Tuesday in West Hollywood.
The 15-year-old Hannah Montana star created her own shake flavor and had it named after her. Miley, 15, and Justin, 20, were also joined by her maltipoo Sophie, Nashville BFF Lesley, momager Tish, country superstar father Billy Ray and older sister Brandi.

Miley Cyrus was one lucky girl on Sunday night when her rumored 20-year-old beau Justin Gaston took to the stage and sang to her during her Sweet 16 bash at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.
“He’s here,” Miley said of Justin. “He’s celebrating with the rest of my friends, so that’ll be very nice.”
Even Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, approves of Justin!
“He actually reminds me a lot of myself when I was 20 years old and I was living and searching for the dream,” Billy Ray told Access Hollywood. “He’s got a great heart and soul, and a lot of determination. I think that’s the true measure of a man, is when you measure his heart.”
