Leighton Meester laughs at herself after losing a shoe while walking on the set of Gossip Girl in Brooklyln, New York City on Monday (March 1).

Her co-stars (and real-life couple) Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were also shooting scenes at the same time.

Executive producer Stephanie Savage says that the upcoming season finale of Gossip Girl will have “two OMG moments.”

“It’s not centered on a big event,” she tells EW. “There’s not a giant wedding or a graduation. It’s a real potboiler where all of this season’s stories bear down on each other. It’s one of those episodes that just really moves. Every scene leads to the next scene in a very sort of tight and exciting way. I’m hopeful it’ll feel like a satisfying conclusion to all the stories we’ve been telling this year and also give you a sense of what season 4 will hold.”

FYI: Leighton and Blake are both carrying Longchamp Gatsby bags in Nude and Citrine. Blake kept warm in a Ralph Lauren Blue Label brown shearling trench coat.

Blake Lively flaunts her gorgeous gams in a Barlow skirt as she and boyfriend Penn Badgley celebrate the launch of Barlow at the Los Feliz taqueria in the Lower East Side of New York City on Wednesday night (February 25).

The Gossip Girl couple mingled with co-star Ed Westwick, Blake’s Elvis and Anabelle co-star Max Mingella, White Collar’s Matt Bomer, Vincent Piazza (upcoming HBO drama Boardwalk Empire), Barlow designer Molly Girard Coonan, Molly’s BFF/muse Alice Barlow, actress Melissa George, A-morir eye designer Kerin Rose, and DJ partners Harley Vierra-Newton and Cassie Coane.

Blake Lively keeps warm in Ralph Lauren’s Black Label Elodie Shearling Poncho while shooting a new episode of Gossip Girl in Midtown, New York City on Wednesday (February 24).

The 22-year-old actress, who plays Serena on the show, was joined by actor William Baldwin who plays her estranged father.

Blake is also starring in a new movie called The Town with Mad Men’s Jon Hamm. MTV caught up with Jon to see if he’s been keeping up with Blake’s TV show.

“I’m a huge Gossip Girl fan, I can’t tell you!” Jon joked with MTV, “My TiVo is stuffed with the adventures of Serena!”

Blake Lively gets some bonding time in with Gossip Girl co-star Chace Crawford on the balcony of their private penthouse at their hotel in Miami before the Superbowl on Sunday (February 7).

Chace spent time looking out to the ocean while flexing and throwing quarters as far as he could. Blake was seen chatting up Chace’s manager.

Gossip Girl has been on hiatus but will return on March 8 with all new episodes.

Blake Lively bares her legs for Esquire’s sexy February 2010 cover spread. Hot!!!

The 22-year-old Gossip Girl actress next stars in the feature film, The Town, directed by Ben Affleck. In the mag, Ben showers Blake with praise: “The whole movie kind of hinges in a lot of ways on her performance, and I knew it was going to be the hardest part to cast. This girl came in, and no one had said to me beforehand, ‘Hey, look for this person.’ And obviously she was really attractive, and so I thought, Oh, here comes some blond girl. She came in, did one reading, and just crushed it. Like, Boston accent — really good. I was sort of stunned. I said, ‘Jeez, you know, that was really f—ing good. Who are you?’ She didn’t mention that she was on a television show.”

Ben continued, “I just said, ‘Look, there’s no alternative. I don’t have a second choice [in casting this role].’ …I want to be on the record because I think she’s really going to blow up, and I want to look like the smart guy. I didn’t quite discover her, but at least I want to say I bought the stock when it wasn’t $500 a share.”

That Penn Badgley is one lucky guy!

The 22-year-old actress talks to the mag about how easy it is to snap into her Gossip Girl character: “I can snap into Serena very easily. The way I dress as Serena is pretty much the way I dress as me. I’m living in New York City, shooting in New York City. I’m in a comfort zone.”

As for her experience filming the upcoming drama The Town with directed by Ben Affleck: “It was crazy.”

As for her sex scene with Ben, Blake shares, “I have a sex scene in this film and that’s never comfortable. You think, ‘Oh, this is going to be so awkward.’ But this scene isn’t supposed to be a steamy one — it’s sort of tragic. … I’m pretty much crying in it.”

Blake Lively will star as the female lead in Green Lantern opposite Ryan Reynolds!

Production on the film begins in March, and the film’s release date is set for June of 2011, Variety reports.

It was announced back in July that Ryan had won the title role in the film.

Blake, 22, can be seen on Gossip Girl each week on the CW and recently shot the feature film The Town in Boston with Ben Affleck and Jon Hamm.
