Britney Spears is expected to attend her custody status hearing in a Los Angeles downtown courthouse with her parents today.

Britney, 26, has been under the conservatorship of her father since her one-week-early release from UCLA Medical Center back in February.

Her ex-husband, Kevin Federline will also attend, said his spokesman, Elliot Mintz

Kevin has had full custody of both, two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James since January.

Tuesday’s hearing will include discussion of a psychiatrist’s evaluation of Britney.

Britney has recently been on the CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother.

It’s official! Britney Spears will be returning to the CBS comedy, How I Met Your Mother, for an episode scheduled to air May 12.

“We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again,” executive producer and co-creator Craig Thomas says. “And just to head it off at the pass this time around: Yes, Mom, Britney’s very nice and no, I can’t get her autograph for you.”

Earlier in the day, Brit Brit had a personal training session at Bally Total Fitness on Ventura in Studio City.

Britney Spears is returning to How I Met Your Mother, reports People.

“The show is ecstatic and so is Britney,” a source said. “She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.”

Brit, 24, will reprise her role as a Abby, a secretary at a dermatologist’s office. In the March 24 episode, she fell for the show’s main character, Ted (Josh Radnor, pictured).

HIMYM costar Neil Patrick Harris has said, “Britney did a great job on the show. She really did. In fact, we are all hoping that she returns rather soon to reprise her role as Abby.”

A workout won’t be helping Britney’s financial troubles as the Spears‘ family was ordered by a Los Angeles judge to pay over $350,000 to settle her legal bill.

This ruling is on top of the decision one month ago where Britney was ordered to pay ex-husband Kevin Federline $375K to cover legal costs.

The two breaches occurred when she gave birth to her son Sean Preston in 2005 and then again this year when was hospitalized in the psych ward. 53 hospital workers peeked at her records!
