• Several news reports say that Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe split because Ryan was cheating on her with Australian actress Abbie Cornish. Reese supposedly found an incriminating email exchange between Ryan and Abbie on his BlackBerry while she was in New York to attend Ryan’s premiere of Flags of Our Fathers.

Justin Timberlake and childhood pal Trace Ayala (above) held a fashion show to promote their William Rast (named after both of their grandfathers) clothing line “Street Sexy” Spring/Summer 2007 collection. This was the first catwalk show for William Rast, which was held at the Social Hollywood last night.

Timberlake on starting a clothing line: “I’ve been approached so often. But I was apprehensive because I didn’t feel like I would be able to have full creative control.” JT’s girlfriend, Cameron Diaz, was on hand for the festivities (pictured above, wearing William Rast). • Kevin Federline has been tapped again to be the face of Five Star Vintage clothing, company spokesmanKenneth Loo said Wednesday. The company chose K-fedagain because of his “renegade style,” Loo said, and because it nearly sold out of each outfit Federline modeled. His latest ads, showcasing the company’s holiday line, will begin appearing next month.
• Angelina Jolie is set to star as Dagney Taggart, the most powerful female character in the film adaptation of Ayn Rand’s iconic tome “Atlas Shrugged”.
• Madonna is expected to pull her concert from NBC because the network wants to cut her controversial crucifix scene. A spokeswoman for Madonna said yesterday she would issue a statement, perhaps as early as today, about the special. Noooooo, don’t back out Madonna!!!
• Barbara Walters has landed the first interview with Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin‘widow, Terri. Walters will do the interview in Australia and it will air on September. 27 as part of a special 20/20.
• Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump, Jake Gyllenhaal, and John Travolta are among 40 celebrities who have signed wooden “dog bones” for a charity auction benefiting the Mississippi Animal Rescue League. The celeb-signed bones will be auctioned off Thursday at the organization’s second annual Fur Ball event. Proceeds will go to constructing a new animal shelter, said Allison Nutt, a MARL board member and chairman of the Fur Ball event committee.
• Donny Osmond will play the role of Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. The play is at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre and his run lasts through November 19. Ewwww, I don’t want to see Donny’s hair chest!!!
• Cameron Diaz filed a police report yesterday, September 20th, accusing a photographer of assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly driving his car at her and boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

• Nominations for the American Music Awards came in twos and threes for artists this year. Mariah Carey, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Eyed Peas, and Nickelback each captured three nominations, while Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kanye West, Jamie Foxx, T.I., Rascal Flatts, Pussycat Dolls, and former American Idols Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood earned a pair of nods each. The show will be November 21 at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium during a three-hour ABC-TV special.

Justin Timberlake made an in-store appearance for his new album “FutureSex/LoveSounds” at Virgin Megastore Times Square in New York City yesterday afternoon. More pictures in the gallery include Justin and girlfriend Cameron Diaz on the Upper East Side this past Monday leaving restaurant Italian restaurant Destino. FYI :: Justin is an investor of Destino, which is located at 891 1st Ave on 50th St.

Justin Timberlake’s "SexyBack" climbed 29 spots back up to No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart after selling 250,000 (!!!) copies as a digital download.  Justin will perform his "SexyBack" for the first time on national television during tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards.  WOOT!

Boyfriend singer Justin Timberlake will address rumors that he’s engaged to actress Cameron Diaz on the fourth season premiere of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs on September 5th (taped this past Monday in Central Park, New York City).

Ellen really wanted to know if it was still "just that good" and flat out asked him, "Should I go ahead and get a bridesmaid’s dress?"

"Go ahead and reserve one. But you’ll have to stay the same size for the next 15 years!" Justin said.
