Cameron Diaz opens up about having kids (or not) in the latest issue of Parade.

The 36-year-old Shrek star shared, “I’m not somebody who is going to declare either way if I’m absolutely going to or I’m absolutely not going to have children. I have no idea. I’m still young. I have an unbelievable life. In some ways I have the life that I have because I don’t have children.”

In the upcoming action comedy Wichita, Tom Cruise will play a secret agent who pops in and out of the life of a single woman, according to Variety.

The 46-year-old actor will costar alongside Cameron Diaz in the James Mangold-directed film.

Wichita is scheduled fora summer 2010 release.

Tom was just at Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. to support his wife Katie Holmes for the Memorial Day concert.

Cameron Diaz flaunts her bikini body as she frolicks in the tropical Hawaiian waters on Tuesday (May 26). The 36-year-old actress recently opened up to Parade:

On not hating on men: “Men are wonderful. I don’t think my feeling about that is ever going to change. I’m never going to feel differently about men. I’m not a man-hater. It’s just not in my nature. I think guys are amazing. I love the dichotomy, the differences in men and women. I think it’s wonderful. It keeps things interesting. We can’t walk in each other’s shoes. We don’t know what it’s really like, but we certainly can make an effort to know each other a little bit better.”

On having ugly days: “Oh, s— yeah. I have them. I don’t declare myself as one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. That’s other people’s label. I don’t think that self-deprecation is healthy for people. I think you should have a healthy relationship with yourself. And so we all have our ‘up’ days and we all have our ‘down’ days. But I’m not going to walk through this world hating myself because somebody else doesn’t think I’m pretty. All I can do is know how I feel about myself.”

Hollywood’s green queen Cameron Diaz espouses environmental consciousness as she takes the June 2009 cover of Vogue, on stands May 19. Here’s what she tells the mag on a road trip to the desert:

On being relaxed about her movie career: “It’s been fifteen years now, and I really feel like I’m just understanding it. You know, the toolbox is just taking shape. And I like that because, if you are lucky, life’s a long journey, and I love the learning process. There are so many movies that I still want to make, so many different kinds.”

On loving the Big Apple: “It’s the best thing ever! New York is the best city in the world, no doubt about it. No other city possesses what New York possesses.”

On her latest movie, My Sister’s Keeper, out June 26: “It’s about falling in love. It’s about all different kinds of love. Parents falling in love with their children. Children falling in love with their parents. Falling in love for the first time. Falling in love with being a teenager. All of the things that you fall in love with, that our hearts give way to over a lifetime, and then the heartbreaks when those things get taken away.”

Cameron Diaz grabs dinner at Italian restaurant Quattro in South Beach on Saturday (April 4) in Miami, Fla.

The 36-year-old actress wore a fun pair of yellow/black Pierre Hardy wedges with a geometric-lines print. Cam wore a black/white version while promoting 2007’s Shrek The Third.

It’s rumored that Ms. Diaz and Tom Cruise will be reuniting to star in a comedy together (they starred in 2001’s Vanilla Sky).
