Casey Aldridge, the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’s 10-month-old daughter Maddie, was hospitalized in Jackson, Mississippi after a car crash early Sunday morning (April 26).

Jamie-Lynn, 18, and Casey’s sister Ashley are by Casey’s side where he is stable at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Radar reports that “doctors fear Casey has a blood clot near his brain, and is about to undergo surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.”

Casey and two friends had been driving home from a fishing trip in Amite Counts, when his Ford F150 was wrecked. Stay tuned for more details!

New parents Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge are clearing up rumors that have stayed with them since the June 19 birth of their daughter, Maddie Briann. Here’s what they tell OK! Magazine:

Casey on impregnating former friend Kelli Dawson after Maddie’s birth: “That’s news to me… Not the least bit [true]. In a small town, everybody knows everybody. But when money’s involved, you find out who your friends are.” (Adds Jamie Lynn: “That is just completely fabricated. He never had an intimate relationship with her, so how would that be possible? Around here, that particular girl is known to make up stories.”)

Jamie Lynn on Whitney Seals, who supposedly romanced Casey: “What happened was that one of those girls did it, and in this small town when one of them does it, they’re all like, ‘Good idea.’ They all jumped on the bandwagon…It hurt me to hear those things. Because my family has to read it. It’s not fair to them.”

Jamie Lynn on the Aldridge family being thrust unwillingly into the spotlight: “Casey’s family is not used to this. They might assume it’s true. My family knows it’s not. It was definitely harder for Casey’s family to deal with it, but you just explain that it is part of this business.”

Jamie Lynn on her family standing beside her: “They know if I were in a relationship like that, I wouldn’t put up with it. My family supports me, and they support Casey also. They read those stories and take them with a grain of salt.”

Jamie Lynn Spears grabs lunch at a restaurant with a gal pal and newborn daughter Maddie Briann, 10 weeks, in McComb, Mississippi late last week.

The 17-year-old new mom wore a pretty-in-pink “Chillin’ in the Club” t-shirt and short green athletic shorts. Noticeably missing was her teenager fiance Casey Aldridge.

Jamie Lynn carried around baby Maddie in the carseat portion of her Graco MetroLite Travel System in Cherry Blossom.

Jamie Lynn Spears‘ boyfriend, Casey Aldridge, was seeing Kelli Dawson, a woman in her late twenties, while Jamie Lynn was pregnant with the couple’s first child.

Kelli Dawson claims she and Casey, 19, were still sleeping together when Jamie Lynn, now 17, was six months pregnant with his child, she said in an interview with In Touch.

“We were both really attracted to each other,” Kelli reveals. “He totally instigated it and pursued me. His friends would tell me that he liked me, that he thought I was pretty.”

Kelli says she and Casey stopped sleeping together a few months before Jamie Lynn gave birth to their daughter, Maddie. “It just didn’t feel right,” she explains. “He had to deal with the baby coming, and it had to stop.”

Britney Spears‘ first husband, Jason Alexander, has confirmed the story, saying it had become common knowledge that Casey was cheating on Jamie Lynn, the mother of his child.

Jamie Lynn Spears heads out and takes her baby Maddie Briann to the medical center for an appointment and then to goes Walmart for some shopping in McComb, Mississippi on Wednesday.

After shopping, Jamie Lynn went to lunch at Nyla’s Burger Basket which is a Spears family favorite!

The rumors regarding Jamie Lynn’s wedding plans are still up in the air with claims that she will walk down the aisle before the end of the year.

Jamie Lynn Spears opens up to OK! with an exclusive interview and photoshoot, talking about life as a mom!

For Jamie, family comes first, saying, “Around here, everyone has the same focus. The focus is family, and that’s a good way to live.”

The 17-year-old actress also talks about life with boyfriend Casey Aldridge, parenting classes and labor pains! “They’d told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours,” said Jamie. “I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.”

The former Zoey 101 star continued, “We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I’ve worked one out with her, and we’re happy going about our little life!”

While out, the couple purchased up a few items from Lowe’s and Sears, including a Craftsman Mechanics Tool Set. They also went through a car wash and picked up fast food from McDonald’s.

Jamie Lynn and Casey are expecting their first child together in late June/early July.

BTW, I spotted Lynne Spears at Z100’s Zootopia concert at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Saturday. YES, LYNNE SPEARS. But no, she was not accompanied by either of her daughthers, Britney or Jamie Lynn. However, she was chatting up a storm with Jill Zarin, one of the ladies from Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York.

Jamie Lynn Spears runs errands with fiance Casey Aldridge around her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana on Wednesday.

The teenage expectant parents picked up mail from the post office and then headed to the offices of Kentwood Bricks. New home for the young couple, perhaps?

Jamie Lynn, 17, was also seen carrying a letter from the Regina Coeli Child Development Center (RCCDC), which strives for these goals:

* Provide children with early literacy and numeracy skills
* Enhance children’s growth and development
* Strengthen families as the primary educators of their children
* Link children and families to needed health and social services
* Involve parents in decision making about the program
