The 40-year-old wife of Michael Douglas made her Broadway debut this month alongside legendary actress Angela Lansbury. Cat plays Angela’s daughter, Desiree Armfeldt.

Catherine Zeta-Jones takes her place on stage for the curtain call at opening night of A Little Night Music on Broadway this Sunday (December 13).
The 40-year-old actress also celebrated with the cast after the performance at Central Park eatery Tavern On The Green.
Catherine recently told the New York Times what attracted her to the Broadway show.
“There’s no jazzy hands, no high kicks, no fishnet stockings, but really that’s what excited me,” she said.
“With most musicals you have to fill in the gaps, but here you have what’s already a beautiful Chekhovian play, and the music is a bonus. The characterization is everything.”

The 40-year-old actress, who also posed with co-stars Alexander Hanson and Broadway legend Angela Lansbury, will begin performances at the Walter Kerr Theatre on November 24. The show’s official opening will be December 13.
Catherine recently spoke to The Daily Mail about how turning 40 isn’t stopping her career.
‘I’ve actually seen an influx of interesting and compelling roles that makes me confident that the over-40 myth in Hollywood is just that,” Catherine said.
“I’m not going out to pasture, I’m not wrapping things up. I’m going after the juicy roles and I intend to prove that older woman have just as much strength in Hollywood as young women and men.”

The 39-year-old Mask of Zorro actress shared with Pop Tarts about meeting Michael for the first time and how they ended up together.
“My very first impression was that he was very funny and very charming,” said Catherine. “And straight away he was very direct that he wanted to be the father of my children. So that was it …”
The couple now have two children Carys, 6, and Dylan, 8.
