Celine Dion and Rene Angelil will be adding two little boys to their family!!
The 42-year-old singer attempted in vitro fertilization earlier this year and recently announced on her official website that she and her husband will be parents to twin boys. The couple announced that Celine was expecting back in May.
Celine and Rene are already the parents of 9-year-old Rene-Charles.
Congratulations to the happy family!!
Celine Dion is expecting twins and is already 14 weeks along, her rep Kim Jakwerth confirms.
The 42-year-old Canadian chanteuse became pregnant after attempting her sixth in-vitro fertilization and turning to acupuncture to improve her chances of a pregnancy.
“We’re ecstatic,” her husband/manager Rene Angelil tells People. “Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing.”
The twins will be joining big brother Rene-Charles, 9.

Celine Dion will be returning to Las Vegas on March 5, 2011 to begin a new 3-year show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
“I’m coming back home to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and I’m very excited about it,” said the 41-year-old Canadian chanteuse. “With the [31-musician] orchestra and the band we’re going to be able to perform our songs like never before. The repertoire is going to be extraordinary … a mix of timeless Hollywood classics, along with all the favorites that my fans like to hear me sing. It’s going to be a very beautiful show, and I think we’ll be raising the bar higher than we’ve ever done before. There’ll be some truly wonderful moments … I can’t wait!”
Tickets for the first 54 performances from March 15 through August 14, 2011 will go on sale Friday, February 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. PST. Best news I’ve heard all year!!!

Celine Dion gets into the holiday spirit as she performs at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa hotel in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., while taping the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade TV special on Friday (December 4).
The 41-year-old singer performed the holiday classic “O Come All Ye Faithful” during the taping. The show will air Christmas Day (Friday, December 25) on ABC!
Expect to see something for everyone on the special, including appearances by Stevie Wonder, Yanni, the Jonas Brothers and Kris Allen!

Celine Dion is no longer pregnant, according to a source close to the singer and her husband René Angélil.
“While she and Rene are actively trying for a baby, she is not currently expecting,” the friend revealed to In Touch.
In mid-August, Celine, 41, and René, 67, conceived with the help of fertility doctors in New York. The couple’s publicist announced the pregnancy news sharing that “They are crazy in love over the news.”
The couple already has a son, René-Charles, 8.
UPDATE: Angélil tells Canadian newspaper Journal de Montreal, “We’re living the reality of the majority of couples who face these procreation techniques.”
