Celine’s world tour kicked off in Johannesburg. The 39-year-old Canadian chanteuse has nine concert dates in South Africa through March 1st. From there, her family flies to Dubai, UAE.

Earlier in the day, Ms. Dion was seen arriving at an airport in Nice, on her way to the awards show.

Also in store for Celine is her first concert in China on April 13, which will be part of Beijing’s official celebration of the Olympic Games. The Canadian chanteuse also submitted an entry for the Beijing Olympics theme song competition. Celine’s got this one in the bag! (She sang the theme song “The Power of the Dream” at the opening ceremony of 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.)

Celine, 39, and Rene, 66, celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary last month.

Nearly three million people have watched Celine, 39, perform 717 live shows since the show opened in March 2003. Gross ticket sales have totaled a whopping $400 million. If you missed out, you can watch the show on the newly released five-hour double DVD “Celine Dion: A New Day - Live in Las Vegas”.

Next month, Celine will be kicking off the North American leg of her concert tour.
