The ACFS (African Children’s Feeding Scheme) is an organization that provides meals for poor, orphaned and abandoned kids.

Celine, 39, kicked off her world tour yesterday Johannesburg, South Africa. She’s the highest-selling female artist in South Africa of all time.

Earlier in the day, Ms. Dion was seen arriving at an airport in Nice, on her way to the awards show.

Also in store for Celine is her first concert in China on April 13, which will be part of Beijing’s official celebration of the Olympic Games. The Canadian chanteuse also submitted an entry for the Beijing Olympics theme song competition. Celine’s got this one in the bag! (She sang the theme song “The Power of the Dream” at the opening ceremony of 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.)

Celine, 39, and Rene, 66, celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary last month.

Celine Dion stands with her son Rene, 6 1/2, as she waves goodbye during the final performance of her Las Vegas show “A New Day…” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday night.

Nearly three million people have watched Celine, 39, perform 717 live shows since the show opened in March 2003. Gross ticket sales have totaled a whopping $400 million. If you missed out, you can watch the show on the newly released five-hour double DVD “Celine Dion: A New Day - Live in Las Vegas”.

Next month, Celine will be kicking off the North American leg of her concert tour.

Superstar singer Celine Dion drops a pretty penny on the Upper East Side’s Madison Avenue on Friday, making stops at Barney’s, Chopard and Chanel. The Canadian powerhouse also sipped on champagne at Chopard before jewelry shopping.

Later in the evening, Celine, manager husband Rene Angelil and son Rene, 6 1/2 , checked out of their midtown hotel.

Taking a break from her “Taking Chances World Tour,” Celine, 39, will guest on the ABC soap All My Children. She’ll play a guest on Erica Kane’s (Susan Lucci) talk show, New Beginnings and will be sing the title track to her new CD, “Taking Chances.”

Airing just before Thanksgiving on Wednesday, November 21, this episode marks her first foray into daytime television acting.

Celine’s “Taking Chances World Tour” is scheduled to hit all major markets in North America before ending Jan. 30, 2009, at the BankAtlantic Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Her album dropped Nov. 13. More info at CelineDion.com.

Celine Dion signs autographs outside the Georges V hotel in Paris on Tuesday. The pop diva is in town to promote her new album “Taking Chances,” which she will be world touring soon enough!

According to Billboard, the North American leg of Celine’s “Taking Chances World Tour” is scheduled to begin Aug. 12 at Boston’s TD Banknorth Garden. From there, the jaunt will visit major markets in North America before ending Jan. 30, 2009, at the BankAtlantic Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Tickets go on sale Nov. 16. The album drops Nov. 13. More info at CelineDion.com.

The instrumentation on this album is full-sounding and of course, Celine’s powerhouse voice pairs up nicely. This woman can sing the dictionary and it would sound gorgeous!
