To kick off July as the national ice cream month, Miss USA 2009 Kristen Dalton unveils the ‘Red, White and Blue Banana Split’ at the Serendipity 3 restaurant at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday (June 30).

Kristen is the older sister of the third Dalton sister Kenzie Dalton, who is engaged to former One Tree Hill actor Chad Michael Murray (Kenzie also competed in the Miss North Carolina Teen USA pageant and placed 1st runner-up.) Former One Tree Hill hunk Chad Michael Murray and his fiancee Kenzie Dalton get a little pick-me-up from Starbucks on Saturday afternoon (June 27).

It was reported earlier this month that former Lipstick Jungle hottie Robert Buckley would be replacing CMM on OTH.

Earlier this week, EW reported that Shantel VanSanten would play the series regular role of Quinn, one of the free-spirited older sisters of Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti). More Here! »

Former Lipstick Jungle hunk Robert Buckley will replace recently ousted Chad Michael Murray in the CW series One Tree Hill.

According to THR, Buckley will play Clayton, a brash young sports agent who represents Nathan Scott (James Lafferty) and has become a close friend, ally, business partner and advisor to him while also enjoying the spoils that come from being a wealthy, handsome single guy.

Buckley filled in for Brian Austin Green, whose deal for the role fell through.

Hilarie Burton spoke to EW about Monday’s season finale of One Tree Hill (her and Chad Michael Murray’s last episode). Here’s a snippet of the interview:

Have you spoken to Chad recently? I was in L.A. last week and we talked. Chad and I are good friends. I won’t speak for him, but it was not a rash decision on either of our parts. He’s very compassionate toward the show and the fans. It’s not an easy decision, but we’ve got to be grown-ups sometimes. [CMM's rep declined an interview request, saying, "Chad is no longer on the show and has no comment regarding the new season."]

What was your last day on the set like? We wrapped together. We were the last two in the last scene, and we opened up a tab across the street for our crew to say thank you and cried a bunch.

The OTH season finale (”Remember Me As a Time of Day”) airs on Monday, May 18 @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.

Costars Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton, who tied the knot during last night’s episode of One Tree Hill, will not be returning for the show’s seventh season, EW confirms.

Translation: The CW could not afford to keep newlyweds Peyton and Lucas on their payroll.

Two new characters will be introduced next season and Jake Gyllenhaal’s BFF Austin Nichols (Julian) will become a series regular.
