T.R. Knight (and his boyfriend Mark Cornelsen) comes out to support his former Grey’s Anatomy costar Chandra Wilson at her debut performance in the musical Chicago on Broadway at NYC’s Ambassador Theater earlier this month.

T.R. will next hit the stage in the upcoming production of Jason Robert Brown’s Tony-winning musical Parade this fall at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.

“I am very fortunate to return to the theater playing Leo Frank in this incredible, acclaimed production of Parade,” T.R. said the LA Times. “After a five-year break, it feels great to be on stage again.”

Grey’s Anatomy star Chandra Wilson steps in to the celebrated role of Matron “Mama” Morton in the hit musical Chicago.

The 39-year-old actress will be in the Broadway show for a four-week limited engagement starting Monday, June 8.

Chandra, who plays Dr. Miranda Bailey on Grey’s, began performing in musicals at the age of five. She has since appeared in other Broadway productions including Avenue Q, The Good Times Are Killing Me, and On the Town.

Chicago continues to be featured worldwide in over 24 countries since its debut in 1996.

Grey’s Anatomy star Chandra Wilson will join the Broadway cast of Chicago this summer in the role of Matron “Mama” Morton.

The 39-year-old actress, who plays Dr. Miranda Bailey on the hit ABC medical drama, will perform during a four-week limited engagement, Monday, June 8 through Sunday, July 5.

Chandra also has appeared in the Broadway productions of Avenue Q and On the Town.
