Chanel Iman cuts a sexy figure in a red silk Marchesa dress on the December 2009 cover of lifestyle magazine, Prestige.

Other pictures include the 19-year-old model with her boyfriend Chris Smith earlier this month at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in NYC and after-party.

Chanel told Prestige that Chris is a “great guy.” She added, “I look for someone who’s a man, who really knows how to listen and how to learn from his girl. I want someone who cares from his heart about what’s on the inside, not about what’s on the outside… I also skateboard with my boyfriend and we ride around a lot of parks here in the city.”

Meet Chanel Iman. She’s the protégée of Tyra Banks and favorite of designers John Galliano and Alexander McQueen and she’s determined to shake things up with her vibrant personality, cheeky tattoos and modern attitude toward race.

Here’s what the 19-year-old fashion model, who was named after legendary designer Coco Chanel and Somali supermodel Iman, had to say in this week’s issue of Page Six Magazine:

On rumors she has been involved with Kanye West, rapper Tyga, and singer-producer Ryan Leslie: “I’m young and I’m dating. But I’m not gonna say any names. There are special people in my life but nothing serious. Just having a man in general is a job! I have one job; I can’t have a second. I’m the type of girl that if I have a man, I want to be a good girl-friend and be there for them and take care of them.”

On her close relationship with Tyra Banks: “She keeps it real. She tells it like it is. She’s really been a great mentor for me.”

Actress Liv Tyler (in Oscar de la Renta) and model Chanel Iman walk the red carpet at The Samsung Imagination Icon Series premiere of ‘The Red Thread: The Inspiration and Passion of Valentino Garavani’ held at The Grace Building in New York City on Wednesday.

Liv, 31, is a statuesque 5′10″ and recently commented on feeling like a moose! “In my everyday life I don’t even wear heels. I wear flats. I’m over six foot in heels, and I feel like such a moose. Everybody says, ‘Oh, I wish I was tall like you.’ I don’t wish I was; I wish I was petite!”
