Marlon Wayans and costar pal Channing Tatum (in Gucci) go palm-to-palm while posing at Fuse Network’s No. 1 Countdown on Tuesday (August 4) in New York City. Sienna Miller was also present.

IGN had a bit to say about the movie’s action sequences and special effects: “The action shifts from dense forests, to subterranean facilities, to the streets of France, to underwater bases, to high-altitude jet fights and a number of places in-between. The major sequences are both intense and sufficiently humorous, laden with eye-rolling, though faintly charming, one-liners and a speaker-shattering, non-stop barrage of explosions, chases, shoot-outs and sword fights. The action is well paced and the effects – much like the cinematography itself – blend the tangibly real and the colorfully cartoonish in a way that captures the spirit of G.I. Joe.”

Sienna Miller (in Stella McCartney) and the cast of the new movie, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, attends the New York Stock Exchange opening bell in New York City on Tuesday (August 4).

The 27-year-old New York City-born British actress wore wing-shaped gold earrings to the event. Looks like Si is getting friendly with someone on the Stock Exchange!

Co-stars Channing Tatum and Rachel Nichols also took part in the festivities.

Costars Sienna Miller, Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans (pictured below) visit BET’s 106 & Park at BET Studios on Monday (August 3) in New York City.

IESB has an early review on the summer blockbuster: “Did I like it? Yes, hell yes! The movie is exactly what it needed to be. A non-stop fun action film for the 12-year old in all of us. The movie captured the essence of the original cartoon just as well as the first Transformers film did. Bottom line it worked great. The cast looked great, the costumes looked good on screen, the weapons were awesome and the story moved along pretty smoothly without any major plot holes. There were enough references and cameos to keep die hard G.I. Joe fans happy. But if this film is your first encounter with the Joes, no worries, it did a great job introducing the core team to newbies.”

Channing Tatum is dressed to the nines in a vest and suspenders as he leaves the Waldorf Hotel on the Upper East Side of New York City on Sunday (August 2).

The 29-year-old newlywed and costar Sienna Miller attended a press junket for their new movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, which opens this Friday.

Channing is in town with his wife, actress Jenna Dewan, who has been shopping in SoHo. “I’m a little obsessed with TopShop shoes now”, she tweeted. Jenna has also been hitting up all of the great NYC food spots. She added, “Going to dinner at the Waverly Inn. So excited. The food is to die for. Between Ray’s Pizza, NY bagels and Cafe Habana, I’m in food heaven!”

Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans attend a special screening of their new action flick, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, at Andrews Air Force Base on Friday (July 31) in Camp Springs, Maryland.

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) hosted the event for U.S. service members, their families and patients from Walter Reed Medical Center. The G.I. Joe cast was seen posing with wounded soldiers.

Check out the video of G.I. Joe hunk Channing Tatum and Charlyne Yi taking on the roles of dance instructor Johnny Castle and Frances “Baby” Houseman from the 80’s flick Dirty Dancing (Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey made these roles famous in 1987).

Here’s some of Yi’s campy dialogue: “I’m scared of being put in the corner, Johnny, and most of all I’m scared of walking out of here and never feeling my whole life the way I feel when I’m with you. Dance with me.”

G.I. Joe hunk Channing Tatum and his new wife Jenna Dewan get mobbed by fans leaving Gonpachi restaurant in Tokyo, Japan on Sunday (July 26).

The couple recently continued their around-the-world honeymoon with dinner in Paris at Hotel Costes. After the meal, the couple partied at Le Baron nightclub, where they joined one of Chan’s costars, Marlon Wayans, who was celebrating his 37th birthday. (Marlon was also a groomsmen at Chan’s wedding.)

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is out in theaters on Friday, August 7.
