G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra also stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christopher Eccleston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Byung Hun Lee, Rachel Nichols, Ray Park, Said Taghmaoui, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans and Dennis Quaid.

Channing Tatum rocks out a pair of Cohesive jeans as she smiles for cameras at a photo shoot in Los Angeles on Wednesday (January 28).

The 28-year-old actor is set to star in the highly anticipated film, G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra. The movie is based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe line of toys that first debuted in 1964.

Tatum stars as Duke, the field commander and second-in-command of the G.I. Joe Team after Hawk (Dennis Quaid).

G.I. Joe is scheduled for an August 7, 2009 release.

Newly engaged couple Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan enjoy their Hawaiian getaway on Thursday, September 11.

Over the weekend, Channing, 28, surprised Jenna, 27, and asked her to marry him in Maui in front of close friends.

The pair met each other on the set of their 2006 dance hit Step Up.

Channing next plays Sergeant Duke Hauer in the much-anticipated live action film G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, out 2009.

Stop-Loss actor Channing Tatum picks up a surfboard for “Choice Movie Actor in a Drama” at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards at Gibson Amphitheater on Sunday, August 3, 2008 in Los Angeles.
