Charice and Jessica Simpson rock our their powerhouse voices at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting on Tuesday (November 30) in New York City.
Tens of thousands of people gathered in Rockefeller Center on Tuesday night to watch the lighting of the country’s most famous Christmas tree, a 12-ton, 74-foot Norway Spruce which was illuminated by 30,000 environmentally-friendly LED lights.
The Christmas tree lighting following a show featuring performances by Kylie Minogue, Josh Groban, Boyz II Men‘s Nathan Morris, Sheryl Crow, and British singer Katherine Jenkins.
FYI: Charice is wearing a “Heidi” tweed coat by alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet.

Glee star Harry Shum Jr. keeps it cool with Filipino singing sensation Charice on the set of the hit musical show Glee on Friday (August 20).
Two months ago, it was confirmed that Charice would play a foreign exchange student whose killer vocals get Rachel (Lea Michele) contemplating murder.
“You were incredible today!!” Harry tweeted to Charice after a long day on set. “I loved your MJ moves. Super fresh [Charice] is one talented girl!”
Charice responded, “Thanks. I love your no bones super mega ultra moves! Definitely you were born from a boombox! Hahahaha!”

Pop starlet Charice is gearing up for her debut on Glee – and she’s getting a little help from Botox to look her best.
The 18-year-old Filipino singer underwent Botox treatment and a skin tightening procedure to “look fresh on camera” and to narrow her “naturally round face”. Charice‘s treatments were performed by cosmetic surgeon Vicki Belo, who filled ABS-CBN television about Charice‘s makeover (via AP).
Filming for Glee begins at the end of this month, Charice said.
At first we were skeptical about this rumor — but then we watched the below video. Check it out for proof!
UPDATE: Charice’s rep tells Us Weekly that the Botox was used “to relieve a jaw problem similar to TMJ.”
“It did not hurt; it relieved the pain,” her rep added. “You’ve seen her face – she doesn’t have a wrinkle in it so she wouldn’t need it for cosmetic purposes. The Glee people are thrilled with the way she looks which is why she got the part.”
Teen singing sensation and future Glee star Charice goes country doing an acoustic cover of Shania Twain‘s “You’re Still the One” for Billboard‘s Mashup Mondays.
Charice said that she chose to record the song because it reminds her of her mom. “[She] used to be a vocalist in a band and they were always singing that song,” Charice said. “I love the way Shania sang it and recorded it. It’s just really amazing.”
