Chris Brown appears in court with his attorney, Mark Geragos, for his arraignment at the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in Los Angeles, California on Monday (March 6).
Chris is charged with two felonies for the alleged assault on Rihanna during an argument on Feb. 8, 2009.
The 19-year-old Forever singer pleaded “not guilty, your honor”, when asked for his plea by L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg.

Chris Brown is withdrawing his name from consideration for the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards.
A spokesman for the 19-year-old entertainer said, “Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated. While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so.”
Oprah Winfrey recently weight in on the Rihanna and Chris Brown’s domestic drama, saying, “Chris Brown and Rihanna, if I was your friend, I would call you up and I would say, ‘Give it some time, get yourself some counseling, take care of yourself.’ Heal yourself first… And also, love doesn’t hurt. I’ve been saying this to women for years: ‘If a man hits you once, he will hit you again.’ “
A three-page text message on Chris Brown’s cell phone from manager Tina Davis was what left Rihanna battered and bruised, reports TMZ.
Tina, who turns 40 next month, is rumored to have had a relationship with Chris when he was 16.
The text message to Chris “from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with” talked about hooking up later. Rihanna apparently found out and she slapped and hit him. Chris retaliated.
Meanwhile, according to E!, Chris and Rihanna are currently recording a duet together.

The proceedings lasted for only a few minutes as the arraignment was postponed until April 6.

Chris Brown has officially been charged with felony assault and criminal threats by prosecutors.
These charges come approximately one month after girlfriend, Rihanna, was found with visible physical abuse. Both Chris and Rihanna canceled their Feb. 8 Grammy apperances.
TMZ got hold of the picture of Rihanna, taken the night of attack.
His hearing is scheduled for 3:30pm PT today. Chris is free on $50,000 bail and if found guilty, could face up to five years in prison.
Chris Brown takes some time away and does some jet-skiing while staying at Diddy’s house in Miami, Florida on Sunday (March 1).
The 19-year-old singer is reportedly down in Florida with Rihanna and are “definitely together” according to a People source.
“They are definitely together and care a great deal about each other.” said the source.
