Chris Brown heads to the recording studio in West Hollywood on Tuesday (August 25), following his official sentencing for assaulting Rihanna in February.

The 20-year-old singer was sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community labor. He must also follow an order to stay away from Rihanna for the next 5 years. The judge told Chris he could be sent to state prison if he violated any terms of his sentence.

Chris was involved in two previous incidents with Rihanna “related to domestic violence,” prior to this incident, according to the LA Times. The first incident occurred in Europe and the second in Barbados.

After the Chris Brown stay-away order was imposed by the court, Rihanna’s attorney told reporters, “There were no surprises this afternoon. Rihanna was advised of the plea agreement before it was entered. She did not object.”

As for how Rihanna is currently doing, her attorney shared, “She’s doing fine, she’s pursuing her career. She’s tremendously appreciative that her family, friends and fans throughout the world have supported her.”

Chris Brown has just been sentenced for assaulting Rihanna.

The 20-year-old entertainer was ordered to have no contact with Rihanna for five years (until 2014) — not even on the phone or through a third person. He must stay 100 yards away from her, unless there’s an entertainment-related event, in which he must stay 10 yards away.

Chris is also under felony probation for five years. He must complete a 52-week domestic violence program sponsored by the Commonwealth Catholic Charities and 180 days of community labor in Virginia (where his family is from).

Chris Brown films a cameo in Keri Hilson’s new “Slow Dance” music video in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (August 19).

The 20-year-old singer donned a Billionaire Boys Club hat and a necklace that says ‘OOPS’.

Chris is expected to be back in court for sentencing next week for assaulting Rihanna after a party in Los Angeles.

Recently a new CB track called ‘Changed Man’ leaked in what some people interpreted as an apology to Rihanna. However, Chris‘ reps told MTV that the track is an old tune.

Chris Brown arrives at the Los Angeles County Courthouse for sentencing on Wednesday (August 5).

At the courthouse, the judge for the case, Patricia Schnegg, postponed the sentencing because she didn’t want the 20-year-old singer to have easy community service. Instead, the judge wanted to see documents specifying that Brown will do community labor like picking up trash or cleaning up graffiti.

Chris pleaded guilty on June 22 for assaulting Rihanna after a party in Los Angeles. He is expected to receive five years probation, 180 days of community labor and 52 weeks of counseling.

The sentencing has been delayed to August 27.

Chris Brown is making a profit off of the viral hit “JK Wedding Entrance Dance,” which features Jill Peterson and Kevin Heinz and their entire wedding party dancing down the aisle to Brown’s “Forever.”

Digital sales of the song jumped from less than 3,000 the week ending July 19 to 50,000 for the week ending July 26. The “JK” couple and wedding party were even interviewed on The Today Show!

The video has garnered 12 million views and 50,000 comments. Check it out below!

Chris Brown has released an official video statement, apologizing to both Rihanna and his fans.

Here’s a snippet of his apology: “Since February, my attorney has advised me not to speak out even though ever since the incident, I wanted to publicly express my deepest regret and accept full responsibility.

“I wish I had the chance to live those few moments again but unfortunately I can’t. I cannot go into what happened and most importantly, I’m not going to sit here and make any excuses. I take great pride in being able to exercise self-control and what I did was inexcusable.

“I have told Rihanna countless times and I’m telling you today that I’m truly, truly sorry and that I wasn’t able to handle the situation both differently and better.”

Chris Brown attends the annual White Party hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs and Ashton Kutcher at a private residence on Saturday (July 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

DJ Berrie was the official DJ of the night. When he played Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” Chris was dancing in the middle of the rotating dance floor, and everyone was cheering. Lindsay Lohan was in the DJ booth, requesting Wale, singing and dancing along as Tyrese Gibson tried to grind with her. Also there was Estelle (dancing to the MJ also), Demi Moore, Rev Run and Busta Rhymes.
