Ellen Pompeo gives a little advice about why her marriage with husband producer Chris Ivery is so strong, and her exercise and diet regimen that keeps her in tip-top shape.

“We never try to be apart — we go everywhere together,” the actress tells OK!. “I think that if you marry someone you’re madly in love with, then that’s all that matters.”

Ellen also shared about her exercise routine. “I have a trainer, I do strength work, stretching, endurance and boxing,” she says. “I don’t eat much junk food. I try to eat six small meals a day.”

“I try to stay away from sugar while I’m shooting,” Ellen said. “On weekends I eat what I want. If I eat a Dove Ice Cream bar I feel great, but then I want a nap because I crash from the sugar. If I have to work and memorize my lines until one in the morning, I can’t be taking a nap!”

Oscar winner Faye Dunaway, who hasn’t taken a small-screen gig since a 2006 episode of CSI, has signed on for at least one episode of Grey’s Anatomy to air in February, EW reports. Dunaway will play a renowned doc at the hospital who crosses paths with the Chief, Cristina and Owen.

Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery make fashionable appearances at the Michael Kors Fall 2008 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Tent at NYC’s Bryant Park on Wednesday.

NY Mag had a few words to say about Pompeo at the Kors show: “A few seats down from the [Bravo exec] Andy Cohen Karaoke Machine was a very pretty and blonde-looking Ellen Pompeo alongside husband Chris Ivery. Ellen Pompeo gets sandwiched between music exec husband Chris Ivery and supermodel Helena Christensen while sitting front row at the Y-3 Fall 2008 fashion show at Pier 40 during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2008 on Sunday in New York City.

Photographers went crazy trying to snap pictures of the trio but Pompeo handled the attention gracefully as always. NY Magazine reports, “Though we have never heard particularly favorable whispers about her temperament, we have to give credit where credit is due: In this situation, where b—-iness would not only be understood but probably justified, Pompeo remained downright pleasant and even gave a huge smile and greeting to the PR person frantically trying to find her a seat.”

If you didn’t know, Y-3 is iconic Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto’s collaboration with Adidas sportswear.
