Before heading out to run errands, Chris Pine gets up early and heads across the street to grab a cup of coffee on Monday morning (June 15) in Los Angeles.

Patrick Stewart, who played Enterprise captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation, told British tabloid the Daily Express that he loved the new Star Trek so much, he took his grandchildren to see it.

“I loved it,” said Stewart “It was a very, very odd experience to be in the cinema watching a new Star Trek movie that I wasn’t in. With the exception of Leonard Nimoy (the original Spock), I didn’t know any of the cast. But it’s still Star Trek. I got a great kick out of it. According to THR, the story centers on an experienced train engineer (Washington) about to be laid off as part of company cutbacks and the newbie conductor (Pine) hired to replace him. They find themselves in a race against time to stop an unmanned, half-mile-long freight train carrying enough combustible liquids and poisonous gas to wipe out a nearby city.

Directing the flick is Tony Scott (Top Gun, Enemy Of The State). This is going to be goooooooood!

Presenter Chris Pine gives winner Ashley Tisdale a kiss on the cheek at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday evening (May 31) in Universal City, Calif.

“I had no idea,” she told Access Hollywood. “I can only say… that I’m single, I’m single! I’m just here to have fun. I had no idea he was sitting there.”

The 28-year-old Star Trek hottie will be presenting a popcorn award on Sunday at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, the first year in which the final nominees were decided on by the fans. The 18th annual awards show will be hosted by SNL funnyman Andy Samberg.

Chris Pine steps out of his Honda with a pen in his mouth and walks around in Los Angeles on Thursday (May 28).

The 28-year-old Star Trek stud was just named as one of the presenters for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards airing this Sunday.

Other presenters include Shia LaBeouf, Zac Efron, Cameron Diaz, Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock, Vanessa Hudgens, Leighton Meester, Sienna Miller, Channing Tatum, Kiefer Sutherland, and Sacha Baron Cohen as Bruno.

The 2009 MTV Movie Awards will air at 9pm ET this Sunday, May 31st.

Chris Pine keeps his head down as he walks with a friend in Los Angeles on Wednesday (May 27).

His latest rumored hook-up, The Hills star Audrina Patridge, only had nice things to say about the 28-year-old Star Trek stud.

Earlier this morning, Audrina was on On Air With Ryan Seacrest and agreed that Chris is a very good-looking man but stayed mum on the status of her relationship with him: “My lips are sealed.”

Ms. Patridge continued, “ANY guy is an upgrade from [my ex-boyfriend Justin "Bobby" Bresica]. I’ve learned so much since that relationship.”

Last week, Audrina and Chris were spotted having a drink together.

The 28-year-old Star Trek stud is rumored to be dating The Hills star Audrina Patridge. Her costar Lauren Conrad recently told Us Weekly that she approves!

Lauren told the mag, “He is a really cute guy, and I’m happy for her.” Asked if they make a cute couple Lauren said “sure.”
