Christian Bale and his wife Sibi Blazic enjoy a garden party in Hollywood on Monday.

The 34-year-old actor is currently filming Terminator Salvation in Los Angeles. Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria Shriver both visited the set on Monday and chatted it up with Bale.

Terminator Salvation is being directed by McG and is set to be released in May 2009.

Last month, Bale was arrested and questioned about whether he had assaulted his mother and sister in London, but was not charged due to insufficient evidence.

Christian Bale and his wife Sibi Blazic walk the red carpet of The Dark Knight Japan Premiere at Tokyo International Forum on on Monday in Tokyo, Japan.

The Dark Knight took in $75.6 million this weekend, according to studio estimates, giving it over $314 million in 10 days, easily making it the fastest film to earn $300 million. The previous record was held by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, which did it in 16 days.

The Batman sequel set to become the second highest-grossing film of all time, on track to surpass Star Wars‘ $461 million. Titanic remains the all-time grossing movie with $601 million.

Christian Bale and his wife Sibi Blazic put on brave faces at the premiere of The Dark Knight at Coliseum Cinema on Wednesday in Barcelona, Spain.

The 34-year-old Welsh actor arrived in a 15-car motorcade and appeared calm in the wake of allegations he assaulted his mother and one of his three sisters at a top London hotel. Bale put on a happy face and did not speak to reporters and made no comment about the incident.

In box office news, The Dark Knight earned $24 million on Monday and $20.8 million on Tuesday. That means it just broke another record–the first film to cross the $200 million mark in a mere five days!

Christian Bale’s is denying assault allegations made against him by his mother and sister.

His attorneys released a statement on Tuesday that reads: “Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister. Mr. Bale who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale.”

Yesterday, Bale’s mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, went to a police station to lodge a formal complaint against The Dark Knight actor.

The Dark Knight star allegedly lashed out and assaulted his mother and sister at London’s Dorchester hotel on Sunday, where he has a suite. Bale’s mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, went to a police station on Monday to lodge a formal complaint against him.

Bale was allowed to go to the premiere but police in London were expected to question him soon after.

A Met Police spokesman said: “A 34-year-old man attended a London Police Station on Tuesday by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault.”

The 34-year-old Batman star was later accompanied by his wife Sibi Blazic (Winona Ryder’s former personal assistant). Later, the trio was seen departing from LAX airport in Los Angeles.

The Dark Knight made $48 million on Saturday, so its total North American weekend take looks to be an estimated $155 million. That beats the latest record holder, Spider-Man 3, which pulled in $151.1 million.

The latest Batman flick, The Dark Knight, grossed an estimated $18.5 million so far, the most ever for midnight shows. The previous record was held by Star Wars, Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith, which grossed $16.9 million.

The highest single day opening record is currently held by Spider-man 3 which made $59.8 million. The Dark Knight made an estimated around $64 million in its first day.

Some box office experts are saying the Christopher Nolan-directed flick may reach $170 million this weekend. HOLY!
