Christina Aguilera is featured in the August 2008 issue of Glamour magazine. Here are some great highlights from the interview:

Let’s talk about your new album: Can we expect to see you reinvent yourself as you did for Back to Basics? I just started recording it, but I can tell you that this record is all about fun. I’ll be referencing Pop Art, Andy Warhol’s art. So it will [sound] fun and fast-paced, and visually, it will be full of color, which is how it’s going to tie in with my new fragrance, Inspire [in stores next month]. There’s also going to be a modern element to it that comes from my love of Tokyo.

So, how do you guys (including husband Jordan Bratman) keep things sexy these days? We make sure we have Mommy and Daddy nights out. Our child comes first, obviously, but there are certain things you can do: Once we know he’s in good hands, we go out late at night and have a few drinks. Then we’ll come home, dim the lights and do our thing–and I’m not going into any more detail than that!

Christina Aguilera heads to the Ivy restaurant amidst a mob of fans and photographers in Los Angeles, Calif. on Friday.

The 27-year-old singer stopped by the Larry King Live show on Wednesday and discussed her involvement with Rock the Vote.

“It was really important for me to get involved and get excited about this election in particular,” Aguilera told Larry King, “for the future of my son.”

Aguilera and her son Max will star in a Rock the Vote public service announcement. In the segment, Aguilera holds Max and sings America the Beautiful!

The 27-year-old pop princess appeared on Larry King Live to discuss her public service announcement with Rock the Vote. Christina and her five month old son Max Liron star in a new Rock The Vote campaign ad to premiere this month.

Rock the Vote has tried since its inception to use pop culture to prod young people to vote.

As the ad closes, Aguilera looks up at the camera and says “It’s time to make history. It’s time to rock the vote.”

Christina Aguilera hosts an evening at LAX Nightclub inside the Luxor Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday night.

The pop princess, who is an investor in the club, watched over the party as club-goers packed the dance floor all night long. The club is also backed by Pure Management Group along with celebrity investor DJ AM.

Fedora-friendly Christina Aguilera grabs dinner at Magnolia Restaurant with some pals in West Hollywood on Thursday. The 27-year-old new mom was later seen at Villa Nightclub with music exec husband Jordan Bratman.

Xtina’s five-month-old son Max Bratman will make his TV debut in a new Rock the Vote campaign ad to motivate youth vote in the upcoming presidential elections. “It’s time to make history,” she says in the ad. “It’s time to rock the vote.”

In the ad, Aguilera also sings the song “America the Beautiful” while cradling her wrapped-in-an-American-flag son. Aguilera told the Los Angeles Times earlier this week that she didn’t think twice about putting her son in the limelight. She said, “It’s inevitable that he will be subjected to some amount of press… This election in particular is such an exciting and historical one, and so I was proud to have my son and I stand together for such a powerful moment and message in time.”

In cooperation with P&G Prestige Products, the 27-year-old powerhouse singer will will debut a new fragrance called Inspire on September 1.

According to WWD, “Inspire is a fragrance for women, which opens with fruity notes of mango, citrus and freesia, with accentuated tuberose, accompanied by white rose and gardenia in the heart. Accords of orange blossom from Valencia, sandalwood and musk are added on top of the white bouquet… Aguilera announces that the most highlighted note is seductive tuberose, with freesia and musk, and it seems to her that these notes remind of tones in perfumes for men.”

Christina Aguilera shares her diet secrets and work-out tips in the latest issue of Us Weekly.

The 27-year-old new mom talks about her son Max, how she got her body back and shedding 40 pounds in four months.

Her tips on losing those pregnancy pounds? 90-minute, five-day-a-week workouts with a trainer and no more white bread.

As for the kinds of cravings Christina had during her pregnancy, she said, “Oh, my God, candy! I had a huge craving for candy toward the end of the pregnancy, from Starbursts to Skittles. I actually took a picture of myself with my big belly in a little lingerie top, surrounded by bowls of the candy I like.”

As for the famous growth in her chest that came from breastfeeding…

“It’s kind of hilarious! I’ve never fit into an E-cup before,” she says. “I look at my husband and go, ‘Guess what size this bra is?’ And when I tell him, he’s just amazed. We keep the tags that prove it, to look back for memory’s sake!”

Christina Aguilera roams around town and visits her friend’s house in some colorful and revealing clothing in New York City on Thursday.

The 27-year-old singer was seen on Wednesday in a colorful purple dress as she attended a business meeting in NYC.

Inspire will be Christina’s third perfume and will hit stores this fall. Her previous two scents, Simply and Xpose were met with international successes. Christina will soon be shooting advertisements for her latest perfume, Inspire.
